La Quinta by Wyndham Luling

I traveled alone but there were a lot of others that went there as well,as we were there for a wedding. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was immaculate. The breakfast was really good, especially the coffee!!

The hotel was not as close to the event venue as was stated on the website. The reason we all chose it was because it was closest to the venue. On the website it stated the hotel was 1000 yards away from the venue (@ 1/2 mile) when it was actually @ 5 miles distance.

clean with big room. bed was comfortable. it had a ceiling fan over the bed which is a great plus

no safe in room. the biggest problem we had is that it had a shower curtain in the shower instead of shower door. it had had a shower door but was taken out and replaced with a curtain which kept blowing in on you when you took a shower. it made it very hard to shower and lessened the size of the shower greatly. also the bed sheets were badly stained

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was clean! We loved the location, right across the street from a Buc ee's and a Texaco. Breakfast tasted great! We would for sure stay again!!

The only 2 things was they did not have apple juice at breakfast and then not the hotels fault but the address on booking.com too us into the city of Lulling instead of the actual hotel

I loved my hotel stay. The hotel was clean and fresh. Staff was amazing. Looked new. The room was great. The room was cold which was nice after a long day in the heat. The showers had great water pressure. The complementary toiletries were amazing! Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner! My hair felt amazing after washing with it! There was also lotion, body wash, Q-tips, shower cap, makeup remover, and hand sanitizer. The towels were decoratively folded. The wash cloths were folded like roses. The Beds were comfortable. Fluffy pillows too. There was a large desk, fridge, microwave, coffee pot in the room too. Great place when traveling with kids. Pool was an added bonus. There was also a fitness room. I also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning! Good variety.

The room was really nice and with enough space. Really good breakfast (eggs, waffles, fruit). Perfect hotel if you are planning a trip from San Antonio to Houston and you want to spend a night in a good and not expensive hotel. Parking was included in the room fee and there was a lot of space.

Unfortunately the floor in the entrance of the room was wet, I think because there was a leak. We asked the front desk to change us to another room but she told us there was no availability. Hopefully we only stayed one night because I was with my parents and it could have been dangerous for them. The maintenance woman went to dry the floor like 10 minutes later but as the problem was persistent it didn't help that much. The kitchenet could have been cleaner, there was a little dust in the coffee maker, plates.

The location and they kept the room really clean and stocked. The staff was friendly.

We used the pool, but after a few days the water started to turn green and the trash people had left laying around was never picked up sat there for days.

Location was great for our trip. Breakfast standard American. Clean room.

Needs a bit of a refresher overall. Ice machines not working on all levels.

the financial part was unexpected. The room we booked was supposed to have a sofa bed but that wasn’t the case so I tried to correct the issue but no room were available and the room that was we have to pay full price they didn’t even match the price for out first room

The breakfast options were good. The location was good. The price was not too high. Overall it was a good stay and if we needed to stay in the area again we would stay here.

Price was a little bit more then we wanted to pay but not to bad.

This hotel had one of the BEST breakfast I have had at a hotel. The eggs, sausage n bacon were very well prepared. Both my husband and I were very pleased with the breakfast. Our room was clean n the bed was very comfortable.

The hallways needed cleaning. Could be that they may have had a staff shortage like a lot of places.
