Wingate by Wyndham Seminole

They upgraded us because the room we had booked had availability issues. The room we ended up in was huge, and my son thought it was exceptionally posh. He ended up getting sick, and someone was up to help us quickly when he had issues. I couldn't thank them enough for just supporting us. The pool design was neat, and the front desk was very helpful, when we couldn't figure out how a piece of the room lighting worked.

One of the elevators was under repair when we stayed there. No other issues caused by the hotel.

My only negative comment is that I had told the hotel that my husband is having difficulty walking. So they gave us the room furthest away from the elevator as possible. Someone should really read the comments/requests sent in with the reservation.

We could have had a room easier to get to -- honestly, a 77 year old man who has to use a cane and they put us as far away as possible. He darn near fell in the hallway.

Comfy bed and staff

I've always stayed there when I visit my family, 2nd elevator is still out of order after 2 years. Have asked the staff why it hasn't been fixed I get the same response; it's been fixed but it keeps breaking. Seems like the owner/manager is too cheap to get it fixed properly.

I loved the layout of the room. We had our granddaughter with us and she had the sofa to sleep on. The bed was comfortable. They have anti bug covers on both the mattress and box springs so no worries about bed bugs. The black out curtains work great. We were on the east side of the building and had no problems sleeping even tho the sun was up. Having 2 tvs in the room was nice, but hard to figure out the balance of volumes to be able to hear both. The refrigerator and microwave were nice to have. The staff was nice and friendly. The location was easy to get to.

What I didn't like is that we had a handicap accessible room yet there was a standard sized toilet in the room. It needs to be a taller toilet. The toilet would be easy for someone in a wheelchair to get to but it sits on the middle of a wall with nothing to grab onto. I need to have that taller height toilet. The other thing is the road noise. We were on the third floor and yet the road noise was horrible.

Room was clean and well appointed.

The elevator was a bit off, it stopped leaving a slight step up into the lobby - possible tripping hazard? Also, it was a bumpy ride. The other elevator was out of order. I like this hotel but would consider a different one due to the elevator issue.

The staff were so helpful and polite. Made the experience so much better. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location worked out perfect for us. Such a great experience.

There is nothing we didn't like at this hotel.

The breakfast was awesome I figured it was gonna be cereal like other places but y’all actually had eggs and bacon and every day was different!!! The A/c temp was my favorite overall

Clean room daily

Friendly staff and professional. Pretty clean and pool open late.

Scheduled stay on 4/21/22 & called and asked to move to 4/24/22. Received confirmation that it was completed. Arrived on 4/24/22. Staff able to get me in room. Will check to see if I was charged. Bathroom switch broke but would come on with entry.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and prompt service.

One of the elevators was out of order so getting to and from our room was time consuming. If we took the stairs, we couldn’t access the exit. Door was blocked with equipment and couldn’t get to the main lobby without having to go through the outside.

The breakfast was excellent!!

We booked for three nights in a row so I thought the room would be freshed up for every night I I noticed it wasn't
