Rimfire has been my favorite place to stay at Snowshoe so far. Location is excellent and the rooms have been great.
The only issue I have is that there isn’t enough support staff onsite. We had an issue with a locker upon checkout and it was difficult to find someone to help. The person we did find was very nice and worked to help us, but she had trouble contacting the additional help she needed.

Condo was well appointed for our brief stay. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the Cass scenic rail road excursion.
We didn’t know where to check in. We were expecting to find a front desk at Rim Fire but we had to go to a central check in spot for Snowshoe Village. It was chaotic and very busy when we arrived.

I love Snowshoe. I had a 5k at cass on Saturday so this was the perfect place to stay. 2 hot tubs, indoor/outdoor pool and so much going on there. The room was perfect size for just the two of us! We had to use the fire place the first night and the ac the second night lol. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna both nights. Very clean and comfortable.
There’s nothing that I didn’t like.

Great location and easy to access. I've stayed there many times. If you want a cozy (smallish) room in the village area, it's a great deal. Seems like they are constantly working to update the property.
New for 2021, Rimfire charges you $20 a night to park under the building. It's possibly worth it because loading and unloading is so easy, but since most travel on a budget, that's $20 that some restaurant isn't getting. Take your pick snowshoe. Don't nickel and dime us to death. Also, the room I stayed in (220) had a new mattress, but and old frame so it still sank a bit towards the middle. These are minor issues in an otherwise great stay!

Great location right in the village, convenient parking across the street, easy access to slopes and restaurants.
The locker provided to keep skis in was way too small for 3 sets of snowboard gear.

We always love staying at Rimfire because it is close to everything and always clean.
We didn't realize there was a music festival happening during our stay when we booked our trip. The Village was blocked off so getting to restaurants as well as biking was very difficult.

The view was amazing and was actually clean around there no trash
The only way to the lake to really see it is by the ski lift some of us can’t do that ski lift so I drove to the lake myself and it’s just a lake

Room was smaller than expected, like smaller than the Inn. Nice to be just across the plaza to ski. Lots of restaurants close
