Hampton Inn Summersville

hotel was clean, pool was nice, and breakfast was good.

This stay was very nice. The only thing was when we arrived our room was not ready. The lady at the desk Stephanie stated there were call offs. She did offer another room on the top floor but our family was all on the lower floor so we declined. I asked how long would be ready she stated about ten minutes. Two hours later I had to call and the lady said to hold on she will call she said she couldn’t get hold of the cleaning staff. I asked how will you know when the room is ready if you can’t even get hold of them. She then stated “ I walk my ass up there to find out.” Extremely rude who talks like that to a paying customer. Still never got our room she called half hour later going on three hours to say she had another room, at that point we took it. Great hotel not good service.

Place was clean and comfortable.

Power was out because of a storm, which was understandable, but AC was not working at all on second day of our stay. They said the place was on generator, so should’ve been able to run AC. Was there for a wedding so with the heat, wasn’t able to get wife’s makeup done right…

actually, just our interactions with front desk personnel. nothing serious but the check-in girl never made eye contact with us and the checkout girl refused to give me any kind of receipt because I had booked with a third party😏.

Breakfast offerings were above expectation with something for just about everyone including a lot of healthy choices like fresh fruits, yogurt, and cereal as well as omelets, bacon, and potatoes.

The only complaint that I have is that I found the hotel impossible to reach by phone before I arrived.

The staff is courteous throughout the hotel. The facility is well maintained and great level of cleanliness. Breakfast was available enough hours for early risers or sleeping in vacationers. The breakfast attendant was very efficient in keeping the variety of items stocked and the area clean.

Room and whole hotel was extremely clean. We were arriving late in the middle of the night and I called to make sure we could still check in. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and made sure she was going to let the overnight shift know we would be arriving late.

The breakfast was ok but I’ve seen better at other Hamptons.

Stephanie was a gem before arrival and at check-in. Amy was very helpful when tere was an issue with the outlets in the room not working. The room was clean and had fresh sheets. It was a great stay.

Not near the elevator. We could hear it e erytime. Even woke us up when we were sleeping. Booked 2 months earky. Should have gad a quieter room

The room was very clean. The furniture was modern. The television worked well. The surrounding area was beautiful, and a number of food options were located very close. Also, the charge ports and outlets were numerous and spread throughout the room.

No recycling bins were available as far as I could see. No masks were worn by staff or guests.

Extremely clean! Friendly staff. Good variety and quality on the complimentary breakfast bar. Comfortable. Daily housekeeping was offered. Convenient location.
