Super 8 by Wyndham Dodgeville

The bed was pretty comfortable. And the fact that there were barely any other people staying, the halls were very quiet. The air conditioner was very loud though. I am a light sleeper and it woke me up several times. The attendant at the counter when I checked in was extremely friendly though and that was a plus for me since I was traveling alone and had been on the road for quite a few hours.

I'd say the breakfast was subpar and is the reason that I'm not giving this place a great review. There was barely anything there to choose from when I got there and it was early, like 7:45 a.m. I had coffee and a muffin and it was the last one. Most places like this have some form of waffle or hot options besides microwavable oatmeal, which I can't stand. I was pretty disappointed with what was offered, for the amount of money I paid for the room.

The bed was SO comfortable! There were plenty of linens, especially extra washcloths. The thermostat was easy to control, and the actual room temperature showed up in blue lights easy to see in the dark. The refrigerator and microwave were an unexpected plus, but even better was the coffeemaker with decaf and regular grounds. The room looked and smelled clean, and there was soap by both the sink and the tub. My friend asked for and received an emery board.

The alarm clock on the bedside table was not set to the correct time. I've never been able to set the alarm on those things, but it would have been nice to see the correct time when I woke up during the night.

The whirlpool was great, clean, hot and relaxing for my aching body. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. The woman at desk was friendly and helpful recommending a place for us to get dinner.

Breakfast was pretty non-existent. The only thing was a few packaged muffins and honey buns, coffee and juice. A few more choices would be nice, yogurt, fruit, eggs, (even boiled), toast, oatmeal or cereal.

Property was above average and met/exceeded expectations. The breakfast was a complete joke. Packaged oatmeal, over ripe bananas, a few aged apples along with the cheapest sugar laden roles No milk or protein items

Parking is fine

The room was clean, the bedding comfortable and the staff courteous. The directions for the thermostat for room temperature were clear and it was easy to operate.

The first room they gave us smelled unpleasant when we walked in so we went back to the staff woman and asked for a different room. She was very pleasant and immediately gave us keys to a different room. That room was very nice and smelled clean.

Breakfast could have been A LITTLE better, but I understand it was just a light version.

There was a little mold in the shower and the toilet seat needed replacing.

Big room, pet friendly, very quiet. Good location off 23. Nice view from our window.

Bathroom very small but workable. Breakfast really basic and nothing for people on restricted diets.

It wasn’t bad. Staff was nice and bed was comfy. Housekeeping came everyday. I’d go back to be close to house on the rock. Overall nice room.

Very 80s style (outdated and in a very small town with not a lot to do nearby) bathroom is super tiny almost claustrophobic. Breakfast wasn’t very good and not a lot of options.

No breakfast , what they did offer was a piece of old fruit and some snack bars and oatmeal. No thanks. Very disappointed
