Hampton Inn & Suites Pinedale

We had a couple issues before we arrived. On the day that we were to arrive they called and said the credit card I had given them two months earlier has now expired so we took care of that situation and then they said that they had no handicap assessable rooms available which we had requested in March. We said that would be fine as long as the room was either close to an elevator or close to a door. When we arrived we checked in and I said wait a minute we need to check out your room first they said it was OK gave us our key went to our room and the manager was in checking the room to make sure it had been cleaned it had not been cleaned so he’s very courteous moved us across the hall to a bigger room with a walk-in shower close to the door they took care of the situation without any hesitation.

The staff was so friendly. It is kind of sad that this caught me offguard as we are getting used to the service industry not giving the level of service we had pre-covid. I felt like the front desk was eagerly waiting my arrival and I felt very welcome. The team members working the breakfast area were also amazing. We were there for a funeral and had several family members staying there as well and I saw them interact with everyone and they seemed glad to help us. It was much appreciated. The room was extremely clean. The public areas were also very clean. (Another thing I have given up on since covid) you can tell this team takes pride in their hotel and even though I have no reason to go back, I would just for this experience!

Beds are too hard.

Staff was very friendly and the hotel room was very clean. Location was excellent right in town close to restaurant and beautiful views of the mountains.

I wish the fridge in the room had a freezer compartment to freeze ice packs.

Breakfast was very good and the woman who worked at the breakfast area was very friendly The room was very nice

We need a freezer for those of us who travel with a cooler! And we need plenty of towel racks in the bathroom.

Bookings the app is a scam. I could not change the date by one day a week before the trip.

The app said the new date was not available. I called direct and it was.

The hotel is attractive, clean , and spacious. The rooms were clean, large and attractive with comfortable beds and effective climate control. The complementary breakfast included a variety of breakfast foods, and the food was good.

There was nothing I didn't like.

What was going to be a one night stay turned into two nights because of weather. The staff was accommodating, helpful and quick in assisting with the extension. The room was nice and clean - the bedding was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to work at the desk as well as stretch out and relax. Best hotel of the three I stayed at over the course of this trip.

Breakfast, even under the weird COVID circumstances was a little strange - probably the only staff that weren't terribly friendly - just ackward. Upon arrival, the television also wouldn't receive signal. Called down for assistance, told they'd call back and they never did. I had to troubleshoot, re-attach the unplugged receiver and cords, and reset the entire system to get the television to work. Housekeeping probably needs to turn the televisions on and off and confirm they're working prior to signing off on the room as complete.

Frankly we were not expecting much considering the location and this property not only exceeded expectations but was by FAR the best hotel we stayed at during a month long trip. I was especially pleased that the staff offered to store luggage for us during a hike, which was very helpful.

A huge THANK YOU to Robin at the front desk who quieted down some rowdy guests as we were going to sleep.

Pool was closed, but we understand because of COVID restrictions. There seems to have been a youth hockey tournament as a lot of unsupervised/undersupervised kids were running and roller blading in the halls and being loud.

Location was perfect for us to stay halfway between home and Yellowstone to make our trip more comfortable. They had an area for us to park our truck and travel trailer too. Hampton Inns are usually nice and this was, in my opinion, the nicest hotel in the area.
