High Country Suites

This was a clean and comfortable hotel with a large, clean, and reasonably priced on site laundry room. My room (all rooms?) had a sofa and kitchen including a range, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. There was air conditioning. The room was quiet. I bought a steak, eggs, and veggies and had a delicious dinner and breakfast.

The wifi worked but could have been better.

I was traveling for a fishing trip. The hotel is great access to fishing in the region. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. I will stay again if I am back in this area.

It is not in their control but it would have been great if there were a gas station or a C-store on their side of the street. It's a 4 lane street with no middle lane and sometimes you have to wait a fair bit to get across the street.

Did not eat breakfast so can't comment. Everything else was excellent! Location was far enough off the street to not hear street noise. Kitchen worked great. Hair dryer didn't work but staff immediately replaced it with a working one. Very responsive staff!

I can't think of a thing except I could have used a larger saucepan. Seriously that's it/

We didn't realize there WAS breakfast until the last day of our stay! There was a sign in the lobby and I'm sure we were told when checking in, but it was on another floor, so just escaped our attention. And the kitchen in the room made it easy to have our own breakfast en suite.

Internet connection--we never were able to log on to the wifi--three days of trying.

In the middle of a pandemic and a during a time that this country that feels too divided, this stay made me feel better about our country's future. (I'm serious.) We had to book last-minute after a 6-day backpacking adventure in the Winds. The hotel had good procedures in place, including a way for guests to pick up breakfast in the morning. The lady at the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. I lost my credit card, and I thought I had dropped it at the brewpub. She looked up the number for me and checked with me afterward to make sure that I found it and that everything was ok. I will never forget that. Some drunk people sitting in front of a bar in Pinedale heckled us and mockingly coughed toward us when we walked past them wearing face masks (which were required in downtown Jackson). That was disheartening, but this was the opposite. Everyone from staff to guests was respectful and caring. (Everyone in Pinedale other than the drunk fools in front of the bar was also super nice and mindful of each other's health and safety, I should mention.)

Breakfast was great. A good variety and always ready on time.

There was no clock in the room. The only mirror was in the bathroom.

We appreciated the full size fridge and the spacious room. Breakfast had no eggs but Nutella! We’re able to plug in our car right outside.

Rooms are a bit dated. No pool.

The stay was super convenient and everything we needed.

This may seem petty, but the door in the bathroom drug on the floor really loudly.

Breakfast was very good, especially when considering the limitations imposed by COVID-19-related measures. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entire facility was exceptionally clean. Rooms were attractive and well-equipped. Noise from outside of the room was minimal.

Another chair for the dining area would have been nice.

Friendly staff. Offered suggestions on things to do and places to go. Also there was a fire evacuation that night. It was handled safely and professionally.
