Country West Motel of Rock Springs

What I liked was the theme of the motel. Western Cowboys and Indians. Pure country. The rooms are comfortable,clean and down to earth. Also close to a saloon to finish the touch of a great Ole time in the west. The motel reception has great hospitality and concern that your stay is as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend to any passer by to experience a great restful stay here. Many thanks to Country West Motel and the staff!!!

To be honest there was nothing not to like here. 100% happy and satisfied.

I booked this motel on my way through Rock Springs after I read the good reviews. They were well deserved. There are no bells and whistles here, just a clean, comfortable, nicely decorated room. The shower had good water pressure and the soap was the nicest I used between the west coast to the mid-west! There's a restaurant just down the street. It can be difficult to find a motel that takes pets, and I'm used to being charged fees or putting up with a mediocre motel, but this one was just stellar, and the staff were so nice.

Great value for money, we were only passing through so needed somewhere to put our head down for the night. It was freezing (-12) and there was one tiny heater in the room and the staff couldn't be more helpful to get us another bigger heater and brought it to us straight away.

There should of been some heat lamps in the bathroom we closed it off to keep warmth in the room and it was like a freezer.

The front desk was helpful and concerned with our stay due to handicap situation. She made sure the perfect room for us was a fit. As well for the parking situation. When an employee goes out of their way for a disabled customer they deserve the best review. This individual was taken care if before we left on our road trip. Good job Country West Motel!!! Prices are amazing!!!

I liked everything about it.

I love the old style motels! The owners are very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was a blessing, it was 92 degrees out! The bed was very comfortable and clean. There wasn't any smoke smell (which is nice for an older place.) The location was close to restaurants, grocercy, shopping and even some medical. The cost was super cheap. That being said I think they need to raise the price so they can keep their doors open. I would definately stay again!

Some grout and carpet cleaning

We had our two cats who were skittish whilst traveling. The room’s layout was very well thought out and perfect. They were comfortable and couldn’t hide under the furniture making it very easy when it was time to check out. Breakfast was good. Water pressure & temp. Excellent.

The hotel was wonderful. The train outside our window, not so much.

Bed was so comfortable and it felt like home. I was nervous about the price being so low and motels are usually scary but this place was sooo great and comfortable. Well taken care of!

Although the carpet to me gives it a more homey feeling, there were some spots that would make me question the cleanliness

Clean comfortable room conveniently located close to I80. Staff was accommodating for my late arrival and made sure I knew how late check in was handled.

The only thing is I wish there was a window covering for the small bathroom window.

The location is within a mile of the Interstate and the route passes through town allowing for the opportunity to stop for supplies or something to eat. The guest services book provides even more options and recommendations.

Didn't stay long enough to see the dinosaur exhibit or tour the town.

Location was well lighted by street lights and noticed police presence. Felt safe as we had a rental truck towing a car. Place was quiet. Great hot water!

Door security should be upgraded. Non-slip mats should be installed in tubs. Slip danger when showering.
