Biarritz Apartments

The apartment kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for our stay (just missing the coffee machine 😉) The furniture and beds were very comfortable (lucky as I ended up needing to stay in the apartment due to being unwell) Kids and hubby were able to explore! Very homely:

A few maintenance issues I did report when checking out. 1. The kids room sliding glass door to balcony doesn’t close properly or lock 2. Master bedroom blockout curtains don’t slide, you have to full on pull at them to close 3. Master ensuite toilet seat needs tightening 4. A suggestion of retractable block out blinds in living area for when watching tv, amazing view of outside but distracting when you can see it in the tv when trying to enjoy a movie

great location - just back from the beach and easy access to Surfers Paradise (either by driving for a couple of minutes or using the tram that stops nearby) The apartment was a little dated by modern standards but comfortable enough and everything worked just fine. Ours was a very big apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and a lovely sized lounge and kitchen.

Not the apartments fault but there were no bars or cafes close by and so you had to go a little further afield (maybe 1km or so)

The apartment was spacious and the location was great, walking and short driving distance to the beachfront cafes and markets. The apartment had beautiful views of the beach and surrounding area, would definitely stay at this place again. The pool and spa was awesome, nice and quiet and washing and drying facilities in the apartment was very handy for us.

The only minor issue I can think off, was the window in our apartment, the latch was broken so every night you can hear the howling wind because the window was unable to completely lock but it didn’t keep me up from sleep or anything.

size, view, location

Not very clean. the shower head was not cleaned, the shower floor felt dirty, the bathroom floor was dusty. the hair dryer was broken and dusty. the washing machine had soap powder in the softener section. the glass panels were dirty and unclear and the tables needed wiping. the bedroom side tables were dusty and the lamps were old and dirty. The kitchen bins stank like cigarette ashes were thrown in it and one of the pedals were broken. I had to clean the kitchen cupboard shelves that I was using as they were also dirty. The overall cleanliness was enough to make my stay uncomfortable and probably will not return.

Spacious, clean and tidy apartments with everything you need at your fingertips. Good value for money, I will be back 😊

The people who stayed in the apartment before us had put items they had used in the kitchen back into the cupboard without washing them up , so when I went to use a frypan it still has food and oil in it ...another dish had food all stuck to the sides of it. Very inconsiderate of the previous people to leave things the way they did. Not the staffs fault I know but very disappointed.

Massive apartment close to beach easy access and free and easy parking, lounge was super comfy, Front reception even dropped flowers to my room I had ordered to the hotel for anniversary.

The washing machine door lock mechanism was broken so couldn't wash clothes or towels. (so had to get more towels from reception) Not an issue but 1 towel each for 2 people for 5 nights isn't enough to start with.

Facilities were really good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is excellent, right between Broadbeach and surfers. The room was really good and affordable. We had a broken fridge and the staff had already organised a backup fridge for us so that was great.

Not much to dislike. It’s an older building so there was only one aircon unit in the living area of the apartment but that’s first world problems it was perfectly fine.

Tennis court & indoor pool were great facilities. Room big and spacious Great location

Stored Blankets In desperate need of a wash, they smelt like cheese/off milk so we wore jumpers to bed as I didn’t want to put them on anywhere near me or my kids and some had crusty stains & one had a matted clump of dark hair in it! The Sliding door to balcony was so hard to open so that could be easily fixed. Lighting was pretty Dim also

Easy to find. Short walk to beach & tram station. Easy to get to shops, Casino, Pacific Fair, Dracula's, etc by using the trams, which are very regular. Kitchen fairly well stocked with plates, cups, cooking stuff & the like. Good sized fridge. Good Beds. Decent ocean view from our room. Not too much traffic noise. had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment which we shared with family.

The location, and the view. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with utensils and everything worked well. We had an issue with a dripping tap and a light that wasn't working and it was fixed promptly. We really liked the shopping trolleys and luggage trolleys in the basement to help carry our bags up to the room. They were really helpful.

Parking was at a premium as there were permanent as well as tourist guests. We had a bike parked in our spot briefly, but other than that, there was nothing negative.
