The Pink Hotel Coolangatta

The Pink Hotel was an exceptional place to stay! The staff were warm and welcoming, the location beautiful and the room was very fun and trendy! I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely nothing! We loved everything about our stay!

Loved my stay here. Solo female traveller. Was greeted by lovely reception staff. I arrived earlier than I advised and only had to wait a few minutes for my room to finished being cleaned and I could unpack early. Great location. I could walk everywhere and anywhere in Coolongatta. Beach, shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. There were some comments about street noise but I had no issues on a Monday night. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again with my partner. Cab ride to the airport was only ~10 min and cheap too. Lots to do in the area and better than staying close to the airprt

Funky little place to stay at. The room was very clean and we loved that our bedroom was made up each day and with fresh towel. The location was amazing just across from the beach. There is a little noise at night time with traffic and the amazing bar below. Best burgers and drinks. They had great love music and we even ordered the burgers for take out and at on the amazing roof top over looking the ocean. We had a great stay thanks to the awesome staff.

We did mention to staff there was a smell maybe from the air conditioner or plumbing (just guessing) which staff were responsive and said they would look into it.

Quirky well thought out creative design and use of things to make you stay fun. A great mini bar fridge and funky items. A great roof top area, for drinks and chills.

A 3-4 storey walk up, so you may need help with luggage or surf boards. The main room door kept banging all night, due to the wind. A bit of paper fixed it temporarily. Not all rooms have balconies or privacy when curtains are open, therefore make sure you check what type of room you have booked. Internet wasn't great, I had to use my cell phone at times.

The service at The Pink reception is excellent. Super friendly and helpful. I love the retro furnished rooms with vinyl selection and record player. The bar fridge and snacks came in very handy too. And The Pink is in a top location right across the road from the beach and the Sunday markets at Coolangatta. Eddie's Bar is right downstairs. I met some friends and family there for lunch on a Sunday and it was great. The food and friendly service was enjoyed by all our party - from age 8 to 58!

The rooftop bar is fabulous but had no cover for the sun and was a tad too windy to enjoy when I was there.

. We have wanted to stay at the Pink hotel for a while now and were so excited when the opportunity arose. Not only was was our room fabulous, the neon pink sign " GOT SOME BAD DESIRES " could not have been more fitting , AND we were upgraded . SO HAPPY , exceeded all our expectations

cute , quirky , retro cool and across the road is the beach.comfy beds,nice linen and a well stocked snack and bar fridge.rooftop area is a great spot to share a bottle of wine .

the shower drainage doesn’t work , the shower has great pressure and lovely toiletries but the trendy drain cover doesn’t allow the water to drain away quickly . my humble opinion would be take out the trendy drain cover and replace it with a normal drain grid cover and voila ! no more water drainage problems

Great and vibrant room. Really comfy bed. Great big shower. Amazing location! Clean and tidy amenities. Free parking available out front. So close to the beach and east walk to shops.

Didn’t have anywhere to plug my phone in to charge super close to the bed which was a mild inconvenience. Window was in an annoying spot as if I had the curtain pulled back I felt like I was in a fish bowl with everyone looking in.

I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the room and the extremely well-stocked minibar. The rooftop is only a few flights up, but it was a great place to byo drink and relax. On Fri & Sat the rooftop bar is open, although I was there midweek so cannot comment. I did not have a car and it was easy to walk everywhere and only a short taxi ride from gold coast ool airport. The room temperature was also great and it was very dark in the room with the blinds pulled which I love. The bed in room 2 also felt like memory foam and was extremely comfortable to sleep on.

As others have said- the noise does travel. On Tues night I could sing along to the spice girls coming from the front bar (even though it was closed). The property does have earplugs in the room which is a really thoughtful touch!

Location was fabulous. There was a broken sewer pipe and so the room smelt quite bad on the first night, but the staff quickly got plumbers involved and the problem was rectified in days. The hotel is quirky, great style, comfortable beds, very pretty and not like other cookie cutter places around. Very “instagrammable”. Parking is a it of the problem but easily overcome. This place is a hidden gem in the blandness of the Gold Coast and I would definately recommend it to anyone who wants something a bit different. A cross between Palm Springs, old fashioned cool mid century motels and old time rock. Great stylists…
