Bay Villas Resort

Location excellent- close enough to walk to main street, beach and marina. Staff were very helpful with everything including booking tours.

The lighting in the place is very poor, giving it a very dull feel rather than a vibrant feel.

great having a 3 bedroom apartment. lovely gardens, super clean rooms and property. great to have in unit washer and dryer. all the extras like washing powder, dishwashing liquid, every thing you could need for the kitchen to cook. close to the Main Street manager was very friendly great bbq facilities (free of charge)

Apartment was spacious and we enjoyed the pool access outside our room. Port Douglas has some great restaurants but our favourite was Watergate. Make sure you book ahead. Day trip to Mossman Gorge was also a highlight. A relaxing couple of days break

The bed was a bit too firm for our liking and the king bed was 2 singles pushed together so it wasn’t so comfortable to sleep in.

Pool was heated. Room was clean Location is walking distance to Macrossan street and to the four mile beach. Room was spacious and the changed the sheets midway through our stay

If they changed the sheets perhaps the could have changed all the towels and mopped the premises as well. Complimentary drinking water could be provided on day one. No bbq facilities.

Room and bed were comfortable. Pool and location to beach and restaurants was so good. Special mention to Angie who checked me in. What a delight Angie was. And very informative and helpful

Only thing I didn't like was lack of milk in fridge. I had a small milk provided but that only lasted the first morning. And although I was on my own it was a double room. Coffee and tea provided but not enough milk.

I enjoyed a Studio Room and it overlooked the pool. It was clean and I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. The pool was heated and a fantastic way to start and finish the day. It was a five minute walk into the centre of Port Douglas and to the Four Mile Beach. Angie, who greeted me in the office, was incredibly helpful. And parking was free too.

Good value for money, had everything we needed in a self-contained 1 bedroom apartment.. washing machine, kitchen, dryer, free wifi and free parking.

Had to lug 20kg cases up to first floor by stairs as there is no lift. Our room overlooks the pool which at night is brightly lit with a blue light that even with the blinds closed lights up the room. Room needs blackout blinds on those windows/sliding door. Our bathroom vanity bench was much too small for us to put our bathroom essentials.

The hotel was in a great location. Overpriced for what it was but it was safe, had everything you need for a stay in Port Douglas, and offered day-trips which I used.

The price point and what you received in return but that's just Port Douglas and accomodation post Covid - expensive! But the location makes it worth it. Also it was over peak NYE period so it's justified.

Position is great. Easy walking to everywhere. Free laundry facilities is a welcome touch. Lots of things to borrow - chairs, books, games.

Lack of kitchen plates and bowls. Not easy to prepare food without good knives or salad bowls. Need more surface space in the bathroom too and shower base had a loose cover on the drain that was dirty.

The location was perfect distance to walk to Four Mile beach and eating district. The room was very clean and comfortable.

i feel like communicating directly w the staff would have had more efficient communication rather than through 3rd party. My problem was quickly solved but wish hadnt have happened. I hope improve by double checking
