Tropical Nites Holiday Townhouses

Nicely presented self contained accommodation in a small complex of detached townhouses with lovely tropical landscaping and well maintained surrounds. Quiet complex at night so slept well in comfortable very large beds. We had everything we needed for our one week stay in Port Douglas and particularly enjoyed sitting on the upper balcony and ground floor patio - so relaxing. Sizable heated pool was situated in front of our townhouse along with an undercover bbq area. We liked that all the facilities were just a step away when we needed/wanted to use them. Managers are very friendly and accommodating and the townhouse was clean and inviting on our arrival. Well situated complex in Port Douglas.

We really enjoyed our 7-day stay at Tropical Nites. The entire townhouse was spacious for a family of four adults, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with enough crockery, saucepans etc. for a dinner night in. It felt like a home away from home. It was located just a nice 10 minute walk away from 4 mile beach, a great location for a morning stroll. The town shops and marina are also nearby, approximately a 2minute drive. Check-in and check-out was very easy, parking was also available and safe. Mel and Andy were very friendly owners, who were very helpful in also organizing a few activities for us. I would highly recommend this stay for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Port Douglas.

It was easy to book, we were very well informed before arrival and during the stay about all relevant issues both with regards to the accommodation but also on tours, transport etc. The place is quiet and the apartments are spacious and very well equipped. Definitely recommendable.

The apartment was situated 15 minutes from the centre which was great but the walk can be quite warm. This is not something I do not like though but for some it could be an issue.

Fantastic holiday accommodation! Great location as the town and beach were a short walk away. Clean, spacious facilities and comfortable beds. Mel and Andy were both very warm and welcoming hosts. Mel helped us to book activities with local companies and also kindly helped us book a last minute airport transfer which was a huge help! Will be recommending to friends and family. The appartments are very nice, spacious and you'll find all the basics you need for a great stay. We've been there with the kids, which certainly loved the pool the most! There is a great BBQ place near the ppol where you can cook a lovel y dinner and spend some nice time with your loved ones. The hosts Mel and Andy are super helpful when it comes to hints and recommendations on what to do and see around. Also, whenever you need something, they help you. All in all we've been treated as very valueable guests and that has been the common tenor from everybody around. Thanks a lot!

All was great, no cons.

Good location, had what we needed for our stay. Mel and Andy were very helpful about experiences and activities to do around the area as well as choosing the best day for snorkelling out in the Great Barrier Reef. Pool was good for a refreshing dip after being out in the heat for the day.

Only had very few complimentary toiletries (shampoo, body wash, toilet paper) which did not cover 5 adults for 5 days

I went self catering and the facilities in the apartment were excellent. The apartment exceeded my expectations. It is completely kitted out with everything you need, dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, AC, television, balcony etc. The apartment was very spacious. We did not use the pool therefore I could not comment on the outside facilities. Mel and Andy were extremely helpful with any query I had. I would definitely recommend this venue to any potential visitors to Port Douglas.

I couldn’t find fault with this venue.

Very practical house with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Kitchen fully equipped with even sugar/salt left overs from previous guests (my assumption). Washing machine and drier in the bathroom, with laundry detergent for the first wash. Nets on all the doors, so one has an option of keeping the doors open without the annoyance of mosquitos entering the house. Separate air conditioning for every room and living room, along with fans. It's like home away from home.

We had the most incredible honeymoon at Tropical Nites! The townhouse was spacious, clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, our experience was nothing short of perfect and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable honeymoon destination. Thank you to all the staff for making our trip so special!

We stayed in a 2 bed house .. it was just like home from home .. well equipped kitchen .. lounge 2 bedrooms and bathroom .. with a shared swimming pool on site . The added bonus of having laundry facilities within our house was great ( been travelling for months and paying at motels ) Mel was absolutely delightful called around tour companies to get us in on last minute tours .. we loved it so much we cancelled one of our other motels and booked another 2 nights here
