Apollo Bay Seal Apartments

Lovely apartment in a beautiful location, clean and comfortable, views of the sea and the mountains, plenty of room, easy check in and out and good value for money. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment in a great little town, so much to see and do or a great spot to just relax.

Would be perfect with a better equipped kitchen, dish clothes, enough dishes to actually use the dishwasher, there was nothing extra to serve food from or heat it in. There was no broom or dustpan and the glass table really requires placements, just a few extras needed to make this place exceptional. It also needs to be clear that only downstairs units have access to a washing machine, laundromat in town is great though.

Located in Marengo, 4-5 mins drive to Apollo Bay. Near Marengo Waterfront. House is newer than the photos in booking.com (maybe owner must repost the better photo). Because honestly i almost cancel my booking because i think the house is so old.

The 1st floor bedroom is a bit old smell. But 2nd floor no bad smell. The Washing Machine is top loaded, inside the house. I dont like it because make our clothes broken. The Dryer is outside the house (beside house no 3&4)..it is public use. So difficult i have to move the clean clothes to outside house to use the dryer. But overall is okay.

a lot of things, big rooms with builtin mirrored closets, views, very very clean and tidy, backyard and wooden deck, location… this appartment had a lot of positives. Alan was super friendly and easy communication mode… 5 mins drive from main Apollo Bay but only 3-4 streets behind from sea… no central heatimg or cooling but aircons in the lounge worked well enogh to warm the rooms and each bed had electric fitted sheet so xtremely cosy in bed on a chilli night

an iron and ironing board would have completed the set of fecilities. aircons looked filthy perhaps might need a cleaning and servicing but worked well.

Very spacious, very warm for spring weather, comfortable beds and furniture, verandah and outside table & chairs, parking, proper cooker, roomy refrigerator

Let down by a number of simple things. Bit of a cheapskate approach - for example, for a place for four people, only four bowls, plates, knives, forks etc, no small plates, scratched poor quality saucepan and frying pan, not properly laundered towels ....bit too keen to get you out of the place by check out time ...

Spacious, modern apartment with views of the ocean, and peaceful surroundings. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was good and water was hot. Full set of towels provided. Short drive to main stretch of shops. Check in and out was a breeze with clear instructions given.

The apartment is on the second floor and only accessible via a flight of stairs after the main door. There is air conditioning only in the living room and not the bedrooms - but not a problem in colder seasons. Shower floor tiles get very slippery when wet. Living room floor was a little dusty.

Comfortable, clean and warm. Alan , the owner sent us a text to let us know how to pick up keys and where to park. Very easy to get keys and let ourselves in. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed and bathroom was wonderful with great shower. Bedrooms had plenty of drawers and hanging space and all beds had electric blankets - what a treat. Air conditioning worked well and there was also a portable heater if needed. Check out was easy with the box to drop our keys in and I sent Alan a text to let him know we had left. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay again.

A very quiet area with views, distant, of the beach from the master bedroom. The apartment was very clean and open with lots of light. The bathroom was huge with great water pressure. Very comfortable sofas in the lounge area. The beds were comfortable too with spare blankets which we needed.

The appliances were sparse. Basically just cutlery. Only a few tea bags provided for 4 people for 2 nights. There was no ironing board and iron. The bathroom had hand wash at the basin but nothing for the shower. Someone had set the Netflix to Chinese and we couldn't seem to change it so the movies had Chinese subtitles across the screen! It was very annoying.

1st stay outside our home and we were very sceptical about the travel and especially the stay but its was pleasant surprise all went well. Great location, Good value for money with almost all facilities which we need were there. Staff was so helpful and always reachable whenever we need anything. clear communication from them on how to find the location, where to get the keys, reminder to checkout. All facilities were good. very neat.

The ground floor rooms were a bit humid. Especially the bedrooms. First floor rooms were warm and better maintained. Probably in colder season space heaters will be needed.

The property was beautifully presented. It was very comfortable and well appointed with everything you need. The owner made check-in & out super easy.

Only minor, but I needed to do a load of washing, and while there was laundry detergent, a washing machine and outdoor clothesline, there was no clothes airer for hanging clothes inside, which is important in winter when there is no tumble dryer.

We really enjoyed staying at this bright and spacious apartment. It was spotlessly clean and had almost everything needed for a longer stay. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a large balcony where we had dinner one night. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath, which we didn't expect, but which was a treat. The owner/manager was very responsive and easy to reach via text.

The apartment was at the top of a long staircase, which I didn't remember seeing in the description - not a problem for us but it would make it inaccessible for people with a physical disability. A couple of items in the apartment didn't work, but we were able to quickly notify the owner of this.
