Avenue Motel

Great spot for overnight travelling thru. Room had everything I needed and continental breakfast was included and plenty. Great layout of motel rooms with plenty of easy parking. Thankyou, will stay again when needed. ** Suggestion - info folder in the room, with the motel layout...breakfast room/wifi/near by eating/other local info would be handy to read once settled in.

for one night stay it was great, we arrived on a hot day and it was refreshing to have a dip in the pool soon after arrival. Not heated but once in the pool it was fine on a hot day. It was great to have the breakfast room to go to, it is functional and simple and well equipped. We arrived and left out of staffed hours, but the communication was still fine, receiving a text message on how to access the key safe. Great Value For Money when on a budget.

The pillows if I was to get really picky - were firm.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in I have to say. The owner was a lovely man, I got an upgrade for free, the rooms were very nice and clean, very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, a definite credit to the cleaning staff. Everything you could need was provided, tea, coffee, a couple of bickie's, and even a light breakfast for free. Cereal, toast, juice tea and coffee. I recommend this hotel 110% I'm telling everyone I know how nice it is, and great value for money.

The do not clean room sign could be clearer, I put it out because the room didn't need refreshing but the lady did it anyway, so the next day I didn't put it out and she did it anyway 🤣. I couldn't figure it out. It didn't bother me it could just be clearer.

This Motel is under rated. The staff are lovely, beds comfy and the heating and cooling work very well. Uber eats knew where I was and quick delivery too. The breakfast that is included is basic but fulfils the promise of "Breakfast Included". I would recommend staying here if you are on a budget or not as everything is quite nice indeed.

The shower was a little underwhelming but it still worked and did the job.

The property was all that I had hoped for. The upside being, location, cleanliness and excellent Internet connection. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This is a budget motel It truly represented good value for money .

This is a budget motel..so no thrills. We had one coat hanger each (ie 2 hangers) ...and asked for a couple of extra hangers ..but were told that was our allocation. But that is not a big deal ...

The rooms appear to have been recently renovated, the carpet, shower etc appear new. The location is one that suits me, on a quieter main road to allow travel around the city, but set behind a service road and with a minimum of noise. Comp breakfast is available, room make-up each day is on demand. The WiFi was free and fast. At this price point the Motel might well be the absolute best value in Ballarat.

I prefer a soft bed, but the beds at the Avenue are firm, similar to Asian hotels. For me, a bed-topper would have been ideal, but this was my only complaint with my stay.

For the price this is an excellent motel. The shower is spacious with great hot water. It has a hair dryer, microwave oven & a good breakfast with a variety of cereals to choose from. The number 10 bus has a stop right outside the motel.

If you have a program of many things to do then you need to have your car with you: otherwise you can catch up with your exercise by walking. There are excellent bicycle lanes & there are shops & a very nice bakery only two blocks away.

Great beds, clean sheets, clean cabin, tv had wifi and could get onto Netflix and YouTube as well as normal tv. There was lots of milk in the fridge as well as tea and coffee, fresh towels and toilet paper. The staff were very kind and helpful even after hours when I locked my key inside my room.

The bottom of the shower door had a build up of soap scum and the toilet wouldn't flush properly.

room was clean on arrival but daily cleaning was on the poor side. Dont know if it was the motel or bookings.com, but after I stayed and paid my bill the booking was cancelled, effectively eliminating my booking from acrueing rewards. Not impressed at all. Bookings.com also sending me faulse messages about my credit card being a debit card amd asking to reenter a valid credit card . once again mosr annoying.
