Daylesford Central Motor Inn

One guest wasn't well in the morning so I rang immediately to see if I could change the booking to a smaller room. This was done without any fuss or additional charge extra. On arrival was greeted by warm and friendly front of house, who was super helpful with allowing us to keep our bicycles inside when requested. After calling in the morning to change the booking capacity, we were given a much cheaper rate for a smaller room but still had plenty of space (2 x bedrooms) for three people. Great location walking distance to center of town and Coles pretty much next door.

Nothing, very comfortable.

The motel is very well positioned and close to everything, including town. We booked the 1 bedroom with 3 of us girls. It was very comfortable and very quiet. We very much enjoyed staying there.

The housekeeping is a bit late, we had the Monday morning as our half day out, but when we come back around 12pm, the rooms still not been cleaned. But the staff did came around and asked whether we needed the room cleaned, but we declined, due to our tiredness stage. May be the door sign might be an idea.

. Very welcoming staff, both on arrival, later when we had questions to ask and finally on departure. Excellent service by all staff : for example, when we found that a bathroom reverse cycle heater wasn't working, we were immediately given a small portable heater that was quite adequate. The room was quiet, very clean and well heated. There was plenty of hot water. The parking area next to our room at the back of the property was perfect for our needs. The Inn is close to the centre of Daylesford and very reasonably priced.

A pity that there was no lamp or light switch by the bedside. However, this was more than compensated by the excellent service overall.

the shower was amazing, great pressure and temperature. room was comfortable and did the job. the tv remote stopped working, so i took it to reception. the lady was very nice and changed the battery, and also came into the room to ensure it was working.

there needs to be signs in the rooms for guests to use about asking for the room to be made or not. we didn't want it made, but it was. there were bees hanging around our car and the room. maybe cutting back the plants around the rooms might help.

This delightful motel is just a short walk away from the heart of Daylesford as well as a Coles. Excellent location! Customer service was warm and wonderful as well. The motel itself is on the older side, but our room has clearly been recently updated so it was all very comfortable, with inclusins such as a heating/cooling unit and even heated blankets. We stayed over a very cold and rainy weekend, and can't tell you how wonderful it was so return to a warm room!

Neat, clean, comfortable bed, big room, 2 rooms have their own small toilets, one room has its own shower room, which is also small, the other room has only a bathtub, probably an old house For the sake of unchanged change. The living room has only a microwave, toaster, no sink, the room is full of classic taste, from the ceiling, chandeliers, curtains, and is well maintained. It was a good stay experience.

One of the rooms is a bit embarrassing with only an open bathtub, and the door is light-transmitting glass. The screen door of the gate needs to replace the screen

Yvonne went above and beyond to help us in any way she could. Our car wouldnt start when we checked out It was a saturday morning and no parts or mechanic available in Daylesford. Yvonne let us keep the room to use for bathroom and tea and coffee etc, at no extra charge. She checked on us to see if she could help us in any way. it was much appreciated.

I have no complaints at all about our experience here.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. I liked the size of the room and the bathroom. The shower was really spacious. I was glad there was parking in front of my room even though it was a bit of a tight fit for my van. It's a really good location, only a couple of blocks from the main street of Daylesford so it's quiet enough. I booked in to work at ChillOut Festival and was really lucky to get in 2 days before the festival. It was a really easy booking and checking in. Not far from the venue where I had to work.

I actually didn't know there was free wifi. There should be a note or something in the room with the wifi details so I don't have to ask. Parking should be numbered because people just park wherever, so when I came back I had to park in front of someone else's room.

Central location. Friendly staff. Very clean room had been updated was clean and practical.

Another units car was much to long for the standard car park area made it difficult to get in and out of the car parking area allocated for my unit. Would suggest if they give rear unit to people that drive massive cars like this!

Lots of things that some accommodations lack: Plenty of lights; plenty of power points; kitchen bench and sink; non-leaking shower; a micro-safe container for cooking; table and chairs; deck with table and chairs; parking right next to unit; good ventilation; no smells; comfortable bed; and more. Walk into town was easy. I chose a room without a lounge, but we used our own folding chairs for TV watching. Nicely kept grounds. Would recommend the motel to others who need a simple accommodation in comfort.

The one suggestion I can make is that it’s time to replace the HEAVY, HEAVY bed cover. Lovely cover, but the modern use of a padded layer in between sheets is preferable. These can be washed between clients, where I’m sure the heavy ones aren’t washed between clients.
