Service after we came to the hotel was outstanding! everything high class, definitely fantastic experience

I have booked several rooms for me and my friends weekend trip. asked months in advance for separate beds and got written confirmation. the day of check in I received a call from Tlen, telling me that nothing is possible. I asked to escalate as I have a written cont. in 1 hour he called me back, to tell me exactly the same, “nothing is possible, do you want to cancel?!?!”. I find it unacceptable to propose me to cancel last day 4 rooms! without even a try or thought to compensate this inconvenience by any effort or amenity. Highly disappointed we came to the hotel, luckily lady at check in was professional enough to settle the issue. One more thing, you hear all the other room door slapping in the morning.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The biggest part was the hotel was centrally located, very close to the magnificent churches and the gorgeous museum.

The taxi driver charged €40.00 for a ride from Antwerp Central Station to Hotel Franq. I know this has nothing to do with the hotel, but this one incident did change our outlook on Antwerp, but for only a few minutes. The driver said that the taxi meter in Antwerp starts at €35.00. We were tired and just wanted to get to Hotel Franq. This was the only bad incident during our 2 weeks in Belgium.

An elegant hotel with great atmosphere and an emphasis on service: all the staff we met were exceptionally kind, polite and helpful. They went out of their way to help and anticipate even small requests. Apart from that, the restaurant serves fantastic food and a visit is worth it even just for that! Location is nice and close enough to the centre while being quiet and easy to reach.

The walls are quite thin and we could hear every time someone opened a faucet near our room. When the neighbours showered it was incredibly close as if a vacuum cleaner was on in our room. The water pressure also was strange, whole showering the water stopped and started...

Lovely smell as you enter the lobby which is fabulously decorated and lots of natural light. Room had lovely air conditioning which in 30+ degree heat was welcome. We changed hotels to this one just because our other one had none and we didn’t want to ruin the last two days of our holiday by having no sleep. The bed and pillows were probably some of the best I’ve ever had staying at a hotel slept like a baby plus they have pillow mist to help you drift off. Shower very powerful. Nice view from our room over the garden Good location

Returning guests and the hotel is in a great location with easy access to the main city; approx min walk. We had a cosy room as we booked late and the only room available and it was adequate for 1 night at 17m2. Staff always pleasant and excellent customer service. Breakfast is ok with a choice of eggs cooked to your order. Limited cold food with a few meat & cheese selections.

Our Nespresso coffee machine did not function properly and we had to get coffee from the restaurant to bring to our room at no extra charge. All other facilities in the room worked well.

Great boutique hotel in a very convenient location to walk pretty much anywhere in the center of the city. On a quiet road with little traffic. It was an easy 15-minute walk to the train station. Pretty much a straight shot. We walked everywhere. Good value for money. Comfy room. Nice bed. Just ask for a room that is not next to the elevator... which I do everywhere anyway.

The breakfast is not exactly a great value at 28 euro per person. There are plenty of great breakfast places within a 10-minute walk. The check-in desk is in an awkward place and seems temporary and does not fit in with the rest of the nice decor of the lobby. Not a big deal.

A very beautiful place - this hotel is absolutely amazing placed in an old bank building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but cosy and we had everything we needed and slept very well. The bed was extremely comfortable. Also the breakfast was fantastic. Not a huge breakfast but therefore everything was very excellent and freshly made again in a beautiful atmosphere towards the backyard of the building and the possibility to eat outside. We will definitely come back and recommend Franq!

Beautiful hotel. Room was simple and small, but cosy and neat and tasteful. Comfy beds! The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast had a continental spread that wasn't excessive but of very high quality, with eggs made to order. Offer of prosecco on arrival a nice touch. Liked the White Company toiletries.

Room is a bit small but perfectly fine. Bottled water in room tastes a bit weird, but it seems to be better for the environment which we liked a lot.

Beautiful hotel and room. The bed and bedding was really good, all clean and modern. The staff were very helpful as well. Very good location.

Very poor wi-fi. Also there are massive road works around the city and the road outside the hotel has been dug up as a result there is no parking at the hotel. This will be for the next 4 months we were told. I think we should have been told earlier not the day before arrival. Saying that the hotel exceeded my expectation and there is a safe car park 2 minutes from the hotel.

A hidden gem and upon entry was just stunned by the hotel. The decor and elegance and vibrancy. A perfect hotel for what we needed. The bar, restaurant and if had more time would have made use of the gym. Sustainable with toiletries in the room no need to bring body wash and shampoo. Amazing breakfast spread. The menu had a great selection of food, hearty and wholesome. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
