Rooms are great, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was great too. There was complimentary coffee and drinks in the social areas. There was free parking and it's very near Canmore. There was a shuttle service to go in town if you don't want to take your car.

The rooms are not very soundproof with the corridor and it can get quite noisy when other guests aren't really considerate. We came during the pre-opening and there was still work being done, which is fine but they used power drills and hammers a 8:00 am which we thought they could have delayed a bit.

All the staff were super nice, warm and welcoming. The rooms were exactly as advertised and were very neat and tidy. All in all it was a very nice place to stay and definitely was value for money! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Since the place had just opened, some of the facilities were not yet ready. I can easily see this being corrected with time.

Recently refurbished hotel, very friendly staff, location just off the highway, a bit of a walk into town, but only a short drive away. The staff kindly left us a bottle of fiz to celebrate our honeymoon which was a lovely. The restaurant was being refurbished, but you could order food to the rooms. The food was great and a good price. Breakfast wasn’t included but they did offer free coffee and little pastries which was a nice touch

Not really walking distance to town

There was not a restaurant yet. It is being worked on. That said, make sure you are not in a room over where the restaurant is going to be. They offered scones and coffee in the lobby in the morning. In the evening from 4 to 7 there were appetizers and drinks. Nicely decorated hotel but the best part was their staff! Everyone that works there were very friendly and helpful.

The elevators were not working properly. To me this was a huge safety issue.

The place was quite nice, and most the staff was friendly. Beautiful area and super convenient to shops, restaurants and the highways.

Not having glass in the shower upstairs made it inconvenient. The elevator not working was inconvenient. Thees are issues that weren't the staffs fault. They tried hard to overcome the things out of their control. Getting parts for the elevator and I guess the showers are like everywhere weeks out.

The front dest were very helpful, especially Lord and Rene. They were awesome recommending points of interest we can go see and guidance how and when to get there. They also took their time explaining the logistics of Canmore. It was a great experience overall. Thank you. So clean and fresh smelling when you come in the front office. I love the wood snell.

There should be more selection on the pastry for breakfast 😀

location, friendly staff, great view of the 3 sisters mountain from room. proximity to town is a plus, walking distance.

parking situation was horrendous, many cars parked off center and as a result several spots were lost. tbh this is the guests fault, but Mngt. should atleast inform cars that repeatedly park incorrectly to do so properly. Water pressure was very low in the shower.

We loved our stay at the recently renovated Basecamp. The vibe is hip and friendly, the rooms very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Our king size bed was very comfortable and our view to the mountains relaxing. I especially liked the electrical kettle in the room, the spout was perfect! The artwork in the rooms and throughout the hotel was fun.

A free breakfast option when booking.

The hotel and the room was very recently remodeled. It is very beautifully done and the rooms and bathrooms are extremely well done. Staff was exceptionally courteous as well. Definitely will stay next time and recommend it to friends.

Not having a restaurant was a little disappointing but we know it will be opening soon. A gym would be very nice too.

Well the place was still under alot of construction, but the little chocolate scones and coffee was delicious. We loved the rooms, very comfortable beds and the price for the rooms was really great, considering how high prices soar around canmore and banff. The place just really felt good, cozy and I want to visit again when it is all done. Staff were really great!
