Port Hardy Cabins

Great little cabin, comfortable bed, great shower. Nice and clean, equipped with everything we needed as well as a gas bbq opposite the cabin in a nice little shelter with picnic tables. We were also able to use the laundry which we were really grateful for. Close to the water too!

Would have loved a little fan just for some air circulation - could have easily opened a window though, just didn’t want to wake my family. The bathroom wall doesn’t go right to the roof so you can hear everything, but it has a good exhaust fan and again was fine for us as a family:)

Everything! Comfortable and homey stay within a bachelor cabin. There is a bed, futon, coffee table, 2-person dining table, and kitchen with a single sink, bar fridge, toaster, cooking element, kitchen utensils, and crockery. A walking path along the nearby estuary runs through the property, and there are two chairs out front to relax on, and barbecue facilities across from the cabins. I would totally stay again!

Being super picky, the bathroom wasn't enclosed (only a high partitioned wall and door) so if staying with anyone else then there is limited privacy but this also allows airflow when showering, etc.

The cabin was adorable! The weather was changeable and the room was comfortable, with the window open for a lovely breeze. I needed to turn the heat on and it warmed up beautifully. The staff in the office are spectacular, I needed a photocopy and it was done immediately and at no charge.

I wish I could have stayed longer, other than that, it was a fabulous place to be. Even though the campground was full and the cabins on either side were occupied, there was little residual noise when I went to bed.

The location was very easy to find, the cabins are lovely although a little tight. Lots of dishes, the shower was large with lots of hot water and wifi was good. There are 2 walks that can be accessed from the grounds. One a lovely forest loop along the river, the other takes you out in the estuary for great ocean views sea birds and jumping salmon.

We would have liked another towel rack in the bathroom so the towels would dry faster. We did hang them over the chairs in the kitchen.

Very clean cabins with small but welcome kitchenette facilities (no stove but hotplate). Staff were super helpful and all the amenities including wifi worked perfectly. Lovely location at the estuary beside Port Hardy.

The log cabins are beautifully built. The only downside is that the wall dividing the main room from the bathroom/shower is open at the top foot near the ceiling, so not much privacy sound-wise. Also light sleepers should be aware the cabins back onto the main highway, so you can hear the traffic from 6 am.

We had our own little cabin with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and 2 queen beds Had nice lighting for reading and beds were super comfortable. All done with pine logs or siding inside so felt super cozy

Lighting over bathroom mirror could be brighter as it is too far away to see to put makeup on As an alternative, put in a magnifying mirror on the side that can be pulled out It is backing on to the main highway so it can get a little noisy. Usually dies down around 9 or 10 pm

This is our second time staying at the cabins and it was another wonderful stay! The rooms are clean, love the out side barbecue’s, picnic tables and nature trail. The staff is always welcoming and helpful!

Lighting in the bathroom is right over the mirror so it makes it difficult to see. Bring a mirror and not an issue.

Happy to relax in a clean cabin with bbq right outside our door. . B.C.Power was off for the whole day Sunday due to upgrading the area, so we visited a lot of lakes and bbq our dinner. We may be moving to Port Hardy.

Tree stumps to sit around the fire. When they built the concrete patio & step out the front door, It would of been better a concrete ramp. Visitors with walkers or wheel chairs would be easier plus it's a big drop .

Very new and cute. It had everything we needed to cook our meal. It was close to ferry harbour for our early departure.

There was a little road traffic noise. We would have liked the bath room wall going all the way to the ceiling to reduce the light in to the room bed room.

I give this place 11 stars out of 10. my son and I loved it! the staff were amazing, the cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great wifi connection too! I cannot recommend this place enough!
