Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Great location close to the western gate for Algonquin.

We booked this (rather than other places) specifically because it said the second bedroom had two single beds. When we arrived it was a double and there were no properties available with single beds. There was a sofa bed in the lounge area - that was far from an ideal solution but better than nothing. The staff were apologetic and tried to find alternatives but there were none available. It was just a bit disappointing given the details provided when we booked.

We loved the pool, especially because we had two rain days! We didn't get to visit the games room because the kids were too busy with the pool. They loved the swamps and catching frogs! Loved seeing the wildlife. Beach furniture great quality and plenty for all. Water activities were awesome and lifejackets provided nice and in great shape.

An awning of some sort over the bbq would be nice so when it is raining you don't get soaked. (we were in Deerview). A picnic table at the cottage would also be nice to eat outside.

This is our second time and overall it is a good resort that we'll keep coming back to. There's space to play badminton, soccer, tennis and then the water activities like kayak, canoe, paddle board and pedal boat. There was ping pong & billiards in the rec room that we enjoyed too. The location is near the Oxtongue Falls-Ragged Falls that we love going back to also.

We rented the traditional cottages and while they are ok, it could be a little better. The doors were a struggle to open so were the kitchen drawers. The toilet seat was unstable. The bed was sqeaking so it's hard to change position.

Excellent location and fantastically set up for a family vacation. Canoe's, paddle boats, kids sand toys, recliner beach chairs, umbrellas etc. all included in the accomodation. Private beach was a major bonus with sand and a flat area for kids to play safely without getting in other guests way. Extremely well kept with the sand being raked daily, very clean pool and facilities.

There is no on-site shop so you must come prepared.

Great amenities, pool, lake swimming, kayaking, tennis, sauna, ping pong, billiards, etc. There was something for the teenagers to do all the time. It was close to Huntsville for shopping and dining (15 - 20 mins by car) and Algonquin Park (absolutely beautiful) was about the same distance as well. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable.

The cottage was a little small for 5 people.

Loved how all the activities were part of the cottage booking so we can experience all of it in one place. It was also super nice to try out new water activities that we normally wouldn’t do. The beach was also much less crowded because it was for the blue acres guests only.

There was many ants in the room, especially at night. They would be all over the place and walls which inconvenient.

Very friendly staff, great view across the lake, plenty of activities to keep busy during both sunny and rainy days, tiny comfortable house, plenty of options for groceries and dinner in nearby towns, boats available for the lake at no charge

House was slightly outdated but a good fit with the environment

We were worried that showing up late would limit our ability to grab firewood for our first night but were happy to arrive to a fully furnished cabin with logs ready to light! They keys were waiting for us on the bulletin board which was nice, given that we stopped in for dinner prior. Cottage was cozy, the pool and sauna were wonderful. Views of the lake and surrounding premises were nice. We enjoyed the skating/ tubing.

Check-out was a bit early, we felt like we had just arrived by the time we left as we didn't have time to prepare a Sunday morning breakfast.

The luxury cottages are kept clean. There's a lot of things to do like kayaking, canoeing, tennis, basketball, pool table and ping-pong. The tvs are not smart TV but there were some movies in DVD to borrow 😁.

I didn't like that other guests were not following protocol, lnot wearing masks in indoor places. The guidelines by the resort is not being implemented, no one from management is doing followup. Too much geese poop all over the place. Washroom and kitchen sink needs to be scrubbed better.

- Location was great, little beach was perfect for relaxing and there weren't many people out on the lake; easy (15-20 min drive) access to Huntsville for amenities - Good range of activities and facilities available, such as sauna, whirlpool, indoor pool and water activities like kayaks, SUPs and pedal-boats. - Quiet and nicely spaced out cottages, couldn't hear anyone else. - Kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed to cook every night. - Friendly staff.

- In the traditional studios, you can look out the door where there's no curtain; I didn't see a single person pass by except for a lawnmower during the day, but still a bit odd. - Beds were not super comfortable but passable. - Could have used some kind of dishrack that we could perhaps put away during the day and leave next to the sink at night.
