Sleep Inn Muskoka

The hotel was spotless, with signs stating they were short-staffed, but we did not notice. The front desk staff were extremely kind. We travelled with our 6 and 3 years old. Within a 5-minute walk, there is an excellent breakfast place (the continental breakfast looked terrific, but the kids wanted to go out), a grocery store, a Chuck's Roadhouse, and a Starbucks. We chose this hotel because it is only 9-minutes from Santa's village. We will pick this hotel if we are out in that area again!

It didn't have a pool. Obviously, this is no fault of the hotel or staff, and we were aware of it at booking. There are lots of things to do very close to the hotel so it was not an issue at all.

Everything was great! We were there for a celebration of life and it was within walking distance for us. Staff was very nice and friendly . They were able to put right next to our friends. Check in was fantastic. So easy !

Our ac wasn’t working the first night but soon as we mention it, they let us change rooms and it was a easy transfer with having kids. We didn’t have to rush. They were great.

Staff where great. We will be back.

Four suggestions, 1. The pillows where very small for a king sized bed. 2. The sink faucet was too short. You couldn't wash your hands without touching the back of the sink. 3. Add dark roast coffee in the room or at breakfast. We stayed in room 204. Bracebridge 4. Shovel the parking lot leading to the back entrance. Not just the walkway.

The staff was excellent, especially Suzanne(I think that's her name, she's also a teacher). Hotel was clean room was great, bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast with Santa so I can't comment on the breakfast there, but the coffee was great!...will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. Thx! For everything:)

How to get there to the actual was a bit odd but it works.

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, including to wish my son a Happy 7th Birthday. Meagan and Jen were AMAZING on the front desk. Like, Fairmont quality front desk. Thank you to both of them as well as the housekeeping staff. Meagan relocated our room to a lower level (thanks again, I am due for knee surgery so the less stairs the better) without hesitation. Extra towels, grabage bags, we slept in for breakfast and they still provided it for us. Would stay here again. It was also located right near two grocers, multiple gas stations, Starbucks, other fast food chains, Dollarama, an excellent all day breakfast - Marja is amazing and they can make a mean omelet, plus not too far of a drive from Santa's Village, the scenic waterfalls or Walmart, downtown tourist area.

Sink leaked, no microwave in the room, fridge was small (we had a longer stay), only shower no tub option with our room size. A 1st world problem gripe would be to also offer apple juice instead of just orange juice.

I loved how comfortable the bed was, and how incredibly clean the room was! The room smelled like fresh air, and l had just come from a terrible experience where the air smelled mouldy, and the air conditioner was worse! Then there was such a friendly staff, as well as a good choice for breakfast!

Typical continental breakfast, it was good. Close to shopping. Comfortable beds.

Location was difficult to find. GPS brought to a different street with similar name and beds are double, not queen as accustomed to seeing in hotels but they are comfortable.

The staff are friendly, accomodating and helpful in providing us information on places where we can possibly go as we are new to Muskoka. Also, the location of the inn is very convenient as it is in the central part of Bracebridge.

Wifi is ok but a bit slow and always cutting

Rooms are comfortable and clean

When we arrived ...the receptionists required $250 dollars deposit .. .she said they been suffering vandalism in the hotel ......in some ways make us feel uncomfortable..... Next time we will Better stay in another hotel.

Room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast bar had a good selection of items.

We couldn't get the TV to work, housekeeping forgot to leave toiletry items and the sink was plugged. These were all minor items that were resolved by reception.
