Holiday Inn Express & Suites Huntsville, an IHG Hotel

The workers at breakfast were amazingly friendly and worked hard the entire time we were there. Never experienced such attention at a breakfast included in your stay. They deserve a raise!! A couple of times we were asked if we had every thing we needed. Well done! It was a beautiful evening and we would have liked to sit outside but only access was off breakfast area and it was locked up and sanitized for the morning breakfast.

Way too expensive for a Holiday Inn Express. We know it is summer/cottage season up north. We were there for a funeral. No comfortable chair in the room. You basically had to lie on the bed.

The room was perfect, very good size, spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Easy to get around in the Hotel, everything was marked to find what we were looking for. Very clean and tidy. Had a pretty smell as you came in the room. The staff were exceptional. Very pleasant. The breakfast was Superb. More than I expected. You couldnt ask for a better breakfast, there was everything that you could want for breakfast. Well Done.

Totally loved my short stay at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was veruly clean and beds comfortable too. The breakfast waa quite basic but quite good. The location was excellent downtown was just about a mile away. There were lots of eating places nearby. Overall a really great experience.

There is renovation worl going on the premises so some facilities were closed. I alao wished they had more dishes in the breakfast buffet.

I really liked the old charm it had to the room. I absolutely loved the sheets on the bed! they were the best sheets I’ve used anywhere when travelling! I’ll never forget them and wish I asked the desk what sheets they use so I could buy them for my home!

we unfortunately were staying during renovations which we were aware of but it still is a downfall. we also thought because of that they should give a bit of a discount to those that stay during renovations.

Loved the king bed, very comfortable, little fridge was great! Pool was amazing as we had it to ourselves and the breakfast was wonderful, the gentleman looking after it was very attentive. Absolutely love the Dove bathroom goodies!

There was no guide for the tv so we had no idea what was on. The toilet is too short, would be great replaced with a taller one. It would be nice to have two more large towels in the room.

The only concerning thing was that booking.com sent us a confimation for Huntsville TEXAS!. I wasted a long distance charge to clarify. Huntsville Canada was our hotel!!! Please fix that glitch.

Even though the motel is under major renovations, our room was spotless, bed was super clean and comfy, staff was amazing (as always). We absolutely love this motel and will be coming back for many years to come.

Really nothing, but if I have to put something, I would say maybe a bit more selection for breakfast. And the blue tarps for the renovation don't really match the decor (LOL) can't wait to see the finished product.

The best breakfast hands down compared to anywhere else we have staid. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Toilets were too low. We are all 5'10" and taller. I myself with bad knees. And the toilet paper dispensers did not turn freely. Lots of work to get TP of the roll.

Rooms were vey clean and not smelly. Beds were made and linen were clean as well. Enough extra blankets and pillows were provided. Room had a small fridge, kitchenette with a small microwave, sink and a coffee maker. Bathrooms were decent sized and had everything one would need like shower gel, shampoo, hand lotions, soap and hair dryer with enough bath and hand towels. Breakfast was included in our stay and was arranged in a common hall which had enough variety like vegetable/cheese omelettes, sausages, muffins, cereals, pan cakes, dessert, coffee, tea, various juices, bread, bagel etc. We were provided with boxes and bags to take the breakfast to our rooms due to covid restrictions. Hotel is right across a shopping complex which has Walmart, dollar tree, Kelseys, East Side Mario’s and a few more incase you need to shop for daily need items or go for a quick bite. Tim Hortons is 2 minutes drive. One of the places we visited (Lions Lookout) was approximately 8 minutes drive. Bracebridge town is 25 minutes drive and has a bunch of amazing restaurants and pubs.

Front desk staff very nice and accommodating. We checked in after a week of camping, and staff provided lots of extra towels for us. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of options. Location was fantastic for passing through, right off the highway.

A better area outside to sit or smoke.
