Cambridge Suites Mississauga

The provision for breakfast was reasonable. There were several options to choose from. Variation in the preparation of some things was limited, but the creativity of the staff to present the stuff differently was noted and was appreciated. The staff were professional and delightful. They were very customer friendly, thoughtful, paid attention to details, was patient and caring in serving us and others. We loved that. The location of the property was good and close to shops, restaurants and fast food places. It was also exactly as shown in the photographs online.

We would have preferred a portion of the eggs provided to be served warm, and if baked beans were mixed with sausages. The kitchenette was stocked with every thing for our convenience to include measuring spoons. We could opt to cook up a meal without going out, which was great. The only thing missing were a set of dining utensils.

Breakfast - OK, good enough to fuel the start of the day. Loved the Coffee though. Room - Cozy, Comfortable, and Perfect for a Good night's sleep. Staff - I have been to numerous hotels and the staff from Cambridge Suites Hotel, treats you like they treat their own guests in their own homes. Exceptionally hospitable, Very Warm, and Courteous and they treat us like family.

There is nothing not to Like :-). Looking forward to my next visit - hope you maintain the excellent service we have experienced. I will be back in Mississauga more often, and I think I found my home base.

This place felt like home. Though it started off rocky as we founs ants in the entry way of our room, it waa immediately rectified and we were given an upgrade which was greatly appreciated. We were also granted an extra hour for checkout. Breakfast was PHENOMENAL...we literally couldn't wait for morning to come during our six day stay. The varierty was splendid....plenty options even for vegetarians. A lot of hotels could take example from this place. Rooms were also very quiet and had everything you needed. The cosmetic items provided were the best. My skin and hair was soft. Amenities are really nice, especially the pool area and jacuzzi. A special shout out to the Guyanese attendant at the front desk that tends to work the night shift into the early morning. Also, to two of the ladies from the breakfast team. Sorry I didn't get their names. They are all gems and deserve raises.

Some of the staff weren't pleasant however, we didn't make this a major issue as most were great. The laundry section needs some work. Also, communication regarding the laundry dryer issue needed improvement. There should at least be one modern machine without an agitator. Had a few items damaged. It would also be nice if there was a lounging area for customers. Finally, staff should pay more attention to the walkways that were filled with snow and were a hazard.

Lovely room sizes and suite facilities would justify a longer stay. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

When we arrived at 10pm with 2 sleepy young kids we found that one of the beds was unmade which made life difficult for us. The sofa bed wasn't really very comfortable so I slept badly and was rudely awakened by housekeeping knocking on the door at 8.10am asking what time we would be checking out. I wasn't impressed with this at all. We needed to do laundry which we found was expensive at $10.50 including soap. Maybe we were unlucky but the washing machine we used swallowed the coins and didn't work. Management sorted it out but only after going up and down a few times.

HOT BIG & VERY GOOD BREAKFAST SUITES ARE GOOD WITH GOOD PANTRY

Bathrooms washbasin is outside the bathroom in from of bed. When u switch on the light at night to wash hand , the sleeping partner is distrubed in sleep. These should be a barn door to close the open wash basin. The bathroom is small with big door, very close to toilet seat. The housekeeping starts knocking doors from 1030am. I was sleeping at 1045am & the crew was knocking the door asking are u checked out. The staff must talk to reception or wait till 12 noon before disturbing the guests.

Comfortable and large room. Had a good amount of room amenities, including a pretty well-stocked kitchen. Housekeeping came almost everyday to clean/tidy up the room.

On day 4 of 5, I ran out of facial tissues. I assumed housekeeping would restock it during their usual cleaning up, but when I got back for the day, the room was tidied up, but the empty box of facial tissues was still there with no replacement. Lack of attention to detail there. Also, every time housekeeping came and I had one or two used kitchenware, they would run the dishwasher just to clean those few pieces. So wasteful! All that water just to clean one cup or spoon.

Very nice facilities for business travelers and the rooms were very well equipped. Front desk staff were good but could have been a better face for the Cambridge Suites - I.E., more of a welcoming and appreciative attitude when guests enter rather than just a job they had to do. However, the lady that seemed to be hosting the breakfast was EXCELLENT.

Windows in the room did not close completely and were a bit drafty when the wind blew - could not latch the window locks. See above concerning the front desk staff (I speak only for the one that we dealt with and understand that anyone can have an off day) Our overall experience was very good.

The room was clean with everything you could possibly need for your stay: kitchen appliances, an electric cooktop, a microwave, all the utensils and dishes, a fridge, a sofa you can turn into a bed, a working table. The hotel even has a laundry you can use. Breakfast was tasty and food was not oversalted as it happens often. The staff was pleasant and friendly. One of the best experiences I have had.

The sound of an air conditioner was a bit loud when it was working, but it's nothing in comparison with all the other advantages.

Great stay in a convenient location! I loved the Queen Suite and really enjoyed the amenities. I did not make use of the pool or other attractions on site, but I appreciated added luggage carts. In addition, the hotel has salted an icy walk near the ground floor side entrance, saving me and others from a fall. Check-in was fast and efficient, as well as friendly.

Nothing really bad to say, other than the one luggage cart I used had soft tires, making it hard to push. Also, the automatic door locks don't always open on the first swipe of the key card. But, I am surely nit-picking.

My stay was pretty awesome and the Queen Bed Suite was clean, spacious and accommodating. With a kitchenette complete with full-size fridge, hot plates, dishwasher, table/chairs and outfitted living-room, it's a spectacular deal. I didn't stick around long-enough to enjoy breakfast, but it was billed as being fantastic, nonetheless. Free parking, pool and fitness center is also a great sell. I forgot shaving cream and the hotel provided some in a pinch.

The only negatives involved a woman entering my room with her kids in tow, as they were given cards to the same room, shortly after I arrived. Thankfully, I wasn't in a compromising situation when this occurred. I complained to management and they told me that a new computer system contributed to the mixup and offered me a discount on the room price. Also, just outside the side door adjacent to my room, there was significant ice buildup that I nearly slipped head-over-heels at one point. There is a grocery store and eateries nearby, but traffic and one-way roads can make getting around tricky at rush hour.
