Super 8 by Wyndham Niagara Falls by the Falls

The breakfast was good and plenty very friendly staff, the parking was reduced to $5.00 per day from $ 10.00 very friendly front desk attendant upgraded my room to king size from Queen deluxe at no extra cost this is my third time at this hotel. excellent pool opens from 9 to 9

The two best things about the property was the location and the king bed. The location was very close to Clifton Hill, but not close enough that the outside noises would bother you. Everything was in walking distance which was a bonus. And the king size bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Probably the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. The air conditioning unit was also quiet and kept us very cool the whole time. The complimentary breakfast was also very impressive compared to most other places I've stayed at.

The only downside to this property was the noise from other guests, which seems to be unavoidable. The rooms themselves are soundproofed, but that connecting hallway is very loud. I woke up multiple times from doors slamming and people talking. I wasn't expecting the connecting hallway considering this is a motel (part of the reason I chose the location). The water from the shower was spraying out of the tub faucet at the same time as the shower head so that was a little weird as well. The shower curtain wasnt properly hooked up when we arrived either. Overall it was a pretty nice room and I would have rated it a 10/10 if it wasn't for all the noise coming from the hallway both nights I stayed. That was my biggest issue with the room for sure.

I stayed 4 nights at the Super 8 in Niagara Falls. I was attending a conference nearby, but opted for the Super 8 because of the price difference and amenities. In room 405, there was a comfortable King bed, a pull out couch (didn’t try it)an east facing balcony, a wonderful small fridge with a freezer, a microwave (+ the usual coffee maker, hair dryer and ironing board etc) and ample space for me to spread out. The bathroom was very clean. All the of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. There was also an indoor pool…but I didn’t use it either. There was a basic, but satisfying, breakfast available from 8am - 10 am in the morning that included hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, freshly made waffles, breads, bananas and coffee. Parking, which is usually $10 per day, was reduced to $5 because I was staying 4 nights. The location was close to everything I needed and the price was about 1/2 as much as the host hotel for my conference. My peers that stayed elsewhere (more expensive place) complained of the tiny rooms, the fridge that froze their food, and the huge charge for parking.

The television in the room, seemed to only be able to access about 10 channels and they were odd ones (not regular networks) and the reception just okay. There was an HDMI outlet available on the back that I could have attached an Apple TV or Roku to, but I really wasn’t there to watch TV. The internet was fine for watching Netflix on my laptop and for FaceTime calls, but my emails wouldn’t load properly (especially if there were photos attached) and I had difficulty sending photos via text. I’m not sure if those issues were the same throughout the hotel. I didn’t mention it to the staff as I was out most of the day.

The staff were very nice. The rooms were perfect. Clean and beds comfy. Being near the falls things can seem damp, but I mean, your near niagara falls...lol. We had a balcony to share with our friends in the next room which was awesome. The room served its purpose. We missed breakfast and didn't use the pool but people were in it. This location is close to Cliffton Hill and is in a great location. Far enough for quiet but close enough to have a great time in only a few steps. We would stay here again for sure

Minor thing but when we woke I put the TV on and there weren't any good channels but to be fair I wasn't there to watch TV....ohhhh I know...we forgot our charging block and unlike newer hotels the lamps and plugs dont have the USB thing so we had to go buy a new block...but again...not a biggy there is a store right there.

The staff was great, A+ customer service as far as I'm concerned. The location was very close to Clifton Hill and Casino Niagara. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast room is small and got crowded very fast, makes you feel a bit rushed to finish and let the next person(s) use the table. Location is not ideal if you're going to spend a lot of time in the Fallsview area as it's approximately a 30 min walk there and back. The TV in the room is basic cable and not a smart TV. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to watch TV when they are spending time in their room to bring a streaming device as the TV has HDMI.

The receptioinist was very friendly and professional. Provided us information such as fireworks timing, provided maps and important visiting sites which was very helpful. This is the first time that a receptionist has provided information( I have been visiting niagara for several years). The location was very good near the falls and walkable distance. We enjoyed the swimming pool and relished the Breakfast.

The bath tub water seems to be clogged and water doesn't do down the drain quickly, it takes time to empty the bath tub. Probably it's old.

The pool was great. My daughter really enjoyed it. The location was awesome! Lots of fun within walking distance. Also nice that it was a bit off the main strip so it wasn't quite as noisy. The staff were excellent! We found them to be very friendly, attentive, responsive and knowledgeable. The beds were very comfortable. Really liked that there were security cameras as I had a bad experience at another motel in Niagara Falls several years ago.

The breakfast room was a bit small and seemed crowded, but we appreciated it nonetheless as it added value for us. The food was decent. Maybe a bit better than average compared to other continental breakfasts we have experienced. I just wish there was more fresh fruit offered. There were only bananas, which were green. The bathrooms in the room were very hot - the AC didn't reach back there unless we turned the temperature way down. The bathrooms were also a little dated and our bath tub faucet was leaking. Pillows were overstuffed but I do find that at most hotels.

Internet was awesome!! Signal strong enough to bring ur Amazon cube, which doesn't work in other hotels we've stsyed at. The room was super big. The fridge was awesome, it was bigger than other fridges I've had at this hotel. The room had a jacuzzi in the bathroom, which was great!!! So, overall, it was awesome. it just would have been nice to have the couch for more seating options. Live this hotel! Was the 4th time I stayed there. Will be back in April or may!!!

We think we were put in a room not used much, so usually when we stay there is a couch with a room that only has one bed, there was no couch. Found a client service book from 2013 as well, lol

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Happy at the reception desk was so kind and helpful :) the ice machine in our building was broken and he even offered us to call him when we needed ice and he would go get it from the other building and bring it to us!

My only comments would be that the bed was smaller than expected and that the breakfast could have been improved! Also we noticed that a lot of the doors including ours didn’t close! You really had to slam it and check it before leaving because it may look closed but it may not lock!! We also had to go to the front desk twice to get our key cards fixed.

I'd say when this Super 8 was built it would have been in a prime location - early 80's????? And very good area But other bigger hotels have taken over It's located not far from "fair ground" entertainment streets Not my cup of tea But heaps of people do like it But if Wyndham group get in after winter and do the place up it would attract a lot more people It has a indoor pool Nothing wrong with the hotel itself Just a tad outdated
