Homewood Suites By Hilton Ottawa Kanata

Staff went beyond their way to accommodate us. We were a group of 30+ families and friends. We were able to use the facility's bbq equipment for a family gathering, as the staff assisted and guided us for the entire time. ( Utensils, trash bags included). When we arrived on Friday, the kitchen area was made available to us for a family dinner, even without prior request. Our stay in Ottawa wouldn't have been the same had we lodged somewhere else. This is certainly a keeper 👏 and we're planning on coming back next year. A special thank you to the manager as well for looking out for us. Truly an amazing experience

Facilities clean our house keeper is a rock star when we returned everyday except the first which was a different person it was spotlessly cleaned. The front desk friendly and helpful breakfast staff immediately cleaned after guests left. They should be proud of their staff. For an included breakfast it was fine not fancy or varied but filling and plentiful

Really just small things pillows really soft I needed 5 to get the support I need next time I will just bring my own also the pool was a little on the cold side

The breakfast was a little bland, room for improvement. The evening staff was a little over the top when accomodating hockey teams and people milling in the lobby and seating area. A little too extreme with the security, considering there was no partying but hockey teams who wanted to gather and watch the hockey game early in the evening. Stayed here before and didnt experience this before. The evening staff at front desk was very annoyed with the low key visiting in seating area. They need to losen up a bit considering we are just coming out of a 2 year lock down with covid and this was many guests, holidays after a long 2 year duration.

The location is amazing! There is a strip mall of sorts that has damn near everything you could possibly want within a 5 minute drive of the hotel. Food of all sorts, lcbo, micro brewery, theatre, cannabis, barber, aquatic center not that you need it with the salt water pool in the hotel. My room was also quite lovely, clean and spacious.

The smell of the cleaning products made me a bit nauseous especially in the elevator. My check in wasn't very smooth because my reservation was not relayed to the front house system or so I was told.

Room and staff were excellent, we arrived late in the evening and were hoping to get in some pool time but it was closed for maintenance. Also, there was a group on young soccer players who were running and yelling in the hallway until almost 11 pm. Front desk was notified and security was sent to fix the situation. Other than that the accommodations and price were excellent.

The location is great, not far from Ottawa. Breakfast has good choices. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are great, were a family of 5, we get room with bedroom, has lots of room for us. We put our slower cooker on for dinner.

Could be more pots and pans in rooms for cooking meals. Rooms should all have keurig coffee makers.

Rooms were great! Very clean, great size, had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We didnt use any facilities like the pool. Breakfast was mediocre. Decent location for shopping and restaurants but not to the city core. Overall, would definitely book Homewood Suites again! Highly Recommend!

Nothing bad to say!

The breakfast was good. It was nice that the hot items changed most days. The quality of the hot items.could be better as they didn't have much flavour but we understand you are cooking in bulk. The pool was nice and warm and it was great having it to yourself. The room size was good and it was nice to have a dining table.

The pillows were terrible. They went flat as soon as you lied your head on them. The bed was supposed to be king size and it was more of a queen.

The location was good. I like the size of the room. I love the window where I can sit on the ledge and look out to the car-park. Reminds me of the time in Germany. Breakfast was okay except that we have to bring our food back to our rooms. We understand this is because of COVID-19 regulations. Hope it can go back to dine-in services soon.

I did not like the fact that we could not dine in for breakfast, but I can understand the reason.

- Breakfast was good - lots of variety - Hotel was VERY clean & well kept

- Not enough parking - No hot tub - Our Electronic key pad used for room entry died, on-site night staff does not have access to or the capability of fixing it. An off duty manager had to be called in to fix it. Overall it was fixed quickly, but at midnight any waiting around for an issue like this is unacceptable.
