Lido Sharm Hotel Naama Bay

Staff are great, friendly and helpful, muti-lingual. Food is good. It has its own beach and a jetty with steps into the sea for snorkelling. Close to dive centre. Feels safe and secure. Rooms with sea view or garden view. Local traditional entertainment good, especially the dancing. I like that this hotel isn't like a resort - some may not find it grand enough, I like the simple design and don't want theme park type pool areas. However, there were still families with small children and parental supervision around the pool is probably easier than at the bigger places.

Loud music around the pool all day, no peace! Also evening music far too loud. Wifi is weak, but adequate if you don't need it for working. Limit of one small bottle of water per day seems odd for fully inclusive. There are lots of steps to different levels, which was fine for me but may bother some less agile people. Some rooms have noisy aircon, some are ok so ask to be moved if it seems to rattle.

The hotel staff is welcoming, friendly, always helps to resolve any issues, room cleaning is good, the food for this hotel is suitable for the price, you won’t go hungry, everything is prepared tasty and fresh, the beach is clean.

The jacuzzi near the pool did not work well

Nice location close to Naama Bay. Clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good views from the room and balcony. Good breakfast.

Noisy from neighbourhood at night. They have some rooms which doesn't face the Bay, which are quieter. If you're like me with noise you must mention this earlier. Rather smaller size of the room if I were a family. For solo or couples its reasonable. The beach is nice sandy beach but not much sea life. If you dream of swimming over coral gardens Naama Bay isn't the right location for you.

Amazing views from room and rooftop. You cannot get better view from any other hotel in Sharm (and I have stayed in most of them). The pool is heated and comfortable for the winter months.

Staff at restaurant did not care about guests at all and were eating during guest eating hours. They were never at their positions (especially the bar), so you have to wait for someone to show up (and they are all eating and talking and do not respond to calls). Food quality was low and not replaced regularly. Staff at the pool was okay. Massages at the spa are below average quality (do not pay more than $10 for an hour). Animation did not even say hi, basically non-existent.

Staff was very nice and friendly, the view and balcony were great and the sunbeds on the beach were very comfortable.

Prices for food/alcohol were a little high, it can also get quite loud but this goes for all hotels in Naama Bay, they also spray a lot of white smoke chemicals against mosquitos in the evening which seemed a bit much.

The location, it’s right on the water, great swimming and diving area. Great restaurant and its staff.

Too many stairs without elevators, it needs better maintenance job.

the receptionist Moustafa is unprofessional. He is talking in very rude way and say to guest unacceptable words in very tough way . i think he should not work in this job as he lack the sense of customer service . No wifi available

We were there because the dive centre (Emperor Divers) was next door and we spent every day with them. We had half-board accommodation. The hotel was very convenient for our plans but we cannot comment on anything beyond the room and the meals we took. However, the staff were excellent and very friendly to us.

Very nice and helpful staff. Location is great if you like to go to the restaurants and shops in naama bay. Beware, some taxis will not drive to Naama bay area at times and you might need to take a 5 minute walk to Lido. I am not sure why but the airport taxi does come over to the hotel.

Pool was a bit on the small size and the beds were rather stiff. It's ok if you like a stiff bed. Nothing extraordinary, nothing extra bad.
