Wanderlust Hotel Chamonix

really loved this hotel. such a nice surprise. we really liked that it was a non-conventional hotel - a hotel designed for today's society. It was full of fun game rooms, a casual american style diner, a sizeable indoor pool and a small jacuzzi, plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the sun and the views of the mont blanc. it even had a kids play area for younger kids and that was just great for us. the decor is AMAZING and the staff are SO friendly & chilled.

1- The pillows. so bad. please bring your own pillows because otherwise you will wake up with a painful neck. i gave the feedback to the manager but i didnt get the feeling like they are going to do anything about it. there was no other pillow options. 2- apparently the baby/kids playroom only opens at 10am.....do they realize kids wake up muuuuuch earlier than that? 3- food is average - has a lot of potential but dont expect to be WoWed.

The hotel was so lovely and cosy, there was a real chilled vibe and it was great for my little one as there is a dedicated play from for him to burn off steam. The rooms were plenty big enough for the three of us for 6 nights and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The pool was always super clean and well-maintained.

My only suggestion is there there is more vegetarian options on the menu, once at the hotel there isn't anywhere else to walk to get food you would have to get a bus. So having more options at the hotel would have been great. But it wouldn't stop me going back.

Location was what we wanted for a quick overnight stay as part of a road trip. Allowing us to get on the road quickly the next day and be in a good position to get through the tunnel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool is a great facility.

The restaurant is closed on a Monday night when we were staying. This isn't very clear at all on booking sites or on their own website. The wandercoffee claims to serve snacks including hot dogs but these weren't available either. This was far from ideal given the location of the hotel means a drive into Chamonix or a bus. However the staff were very helpful in helping us book a take away delivery which turned out to be very good.

The hotel was beautiful and had expectional views. The lobby area was comfy and cosy. The rooms were a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very lovely and helpful. The hotel is located within an easy drive to chamonix.

There was a bad small of drains in the toilets and the toilet in our room also. The tea and coffee facilities in the room could definitely be improved upon. A paper cup that you basically get one mouthful from isn't great. The indoor pool was cold, and the 'hot' tub wasn't much warmer. Very limited choices for vegans in the hotel restaurant and at breakfast. Pillows were very big and quite hard.

Everything. It was one of our best stays till now. the location is perfect, surrounded by mountains. loved the style and furniture of the hotel, the staff was very helpful, pleasant and just adorable. The hotel is near the bus stop (free ski bus)to take you at any location. there is free parking and a ski storage. the 24/7 cafe offers you an excellent coffee although I found it a little bit expensive. Also I found a various and tasteful breakfast, would highly recommend. the room had always a pleasant smell and temperature, not to tell about how clean we found the room not only the first day but every day.

as for the menu of lunch or dinner I found it small and to be honest not taste at all except some dishes like the lasagne with eggplants and the guacamole. also I found the prices really overestimated. there is available a pool and jacuzzi, the jacuzzi has a low temperature which make me feel uncomfortable especially when you had to get out of it.

This place is hands down best place to stay if visiting Chamonix area. The place has such a wonderful vibe, the interior is amazing !! They have a great cafe open all the time, great lounge areas, for kids they have a kids room with loads of toys, they have a game room with a tabletennis, pooltable, fussball, piano, they have a pool and jacuzzi. Beautiful view of mountains from room. The staff are super friendly. its about a 7min drive to Chamonix center. Im coming again and this time with family and friends!!

Dont wanna be fussy but I prefer bit lower pillows, but thats just me.

Not a big hotel about 10 minutes away from the city of Chamonix. There is free parking on site. The hotel is located under the de Bossons glacier and near the autostrada a few minutes from the chairs cable car to the glacier small warm jakuzi for 3 people and heated pool. for us the water of the pool was cold. from the pool a view of the glacier

the chairs in the room are not comfortable at all. 2 tree trunks and 1 large camping chhir that not comfortable also no fridge at the room. we also dont like the coullorres of the room but it ok

I booked this hotel in five minutes when we finished our TMB hiking, it was a snap choice but I bet it right. The hotel was super nice and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and vibrant. The beds and rooms are clean and comfy, exactly what we needed to recover from hardcore hiking. The swimming pool was loved by the child. The dinner choices were also great, we had the ribs twice in a row!
