someone jumped at my room’s balcony at midnight. he or they spent some time there. and after i had turned on lights they escape. nobody call or inform me. at the morning my door knocked by gendarmerie without any information from reception. they asked me question about last night like did you heard the noise? can you recognize them etc. . i helped them as far as i know. but the strange thing is nobody from the hotel side, explained nothing and didn’t say sorry , no info , no apology.

Double bed was too small something between 130-140 width. I love France and travel a lot, but I’ve never seen such small double beds. There were no additional information in booking about bed and I booked “comfort” double room that is actually means sleep and stay with the comfort. So in this Point I would say “comfort” in this hotel didn’t meet my expectation and at least should be added in room explanation. Second, toilet was separate from bath, which is good, but it was without ventilation. It was not nice to use it. Third, in booking for comfort room stays “terrace”, which is actually small balcony. I mean I was fine with it, but you should describe the real facilities, otherwise it’s a case not to trust you next time while booking.

View of Mont Blanc from fab little roof top pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Shower with excellent hot water flow in my room. Clean bed linen. Morning receptionist is excellent, maybe she is Indian, she understood customer communication and customer service perfectly. Impressive. Highly professional. CNN and BBC news in room.

Below par evening bar experience…I was looking forward to a drink at the bar as I arrived at 9:30pm. Most strange for a 4 star hotel. No food in hotel at 9:30pm just takeout delivery to reception which was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Please don’t tuck the sides of bed in such a way that when trying to access the bed all the bed linen comes apart…it should be easier to access the bed and get into the bed.

The location was central. Spacious room with good soundproof. Spa was excellent with heated pools and a variety of saunas. Breakfast a bit pricey but tasty. Free toiletries and coffee.

Toilet had no water basin - it was situated inconveniently in the shower room. Ground floor with the gym/ski room seemed to have a problem with mould. The view from the window was a plastic cow. Staff was good except from the man handling the reception desk during check out. Rude and unwelcoming attitude - certainly not something that should be tolerated in a 4 star hotel.

Location was amazing and we loved using the spa facilities. Was very convenient to shops, restaurants, bus, and cable car.

We booked during the UTMB, which was amazing to watch the runners, but start/finish was right outside our balcony so was a bit loud throughout the night. Loved all the energy, but just didn’t get great sleep due to the event.

The hotel location was great and the staff were very helpful. The spa was fantastic and loved the rooftop hot tub. The hotel staff allow drinks in the hot tub with plastic cups which is great to sit with a beer after a day on the slopes. Only maximum of 6 people is the only downside!

When skiing on the last day, there is a lack of changing facilities or shower area. There was only one shower cubicle down the hallway and a conference room with about 7 people waiting for the shower where you store your bags. Late check out is only until 12 midday.

Amazing location, great rooftop with amazing view. Also great to have a little present for our baby when checking in the room.

One staff at the spa was a bit rude when wanting to go up there to check out the view. We were not wearing robes + sleepers to access it - which we were not told when checking in. She was also pretty harsh when telling us that our baby wasn’t allowed on rooftop (only hours that -16yo ate allowed is from 10:30 until 12:30 which we were not told during checkin). FYI this bad experience happened only with one employee. The rest of the staff was amazing and very professional. No aircon in room, which for the price and star rating I found a bit odd. Jacuzzi wasn’t hot enough (as per usual standards) and a few jets were not working,

The location was perfect. Walking distance from bus stations and train stations. The entire town is basically walking distance. Aside from the place not having ac, and it being pretty hot in summer, it was incredible. Super cute place! The spa is absolutely the best part! Incredible views and the amenities at the spa are a MUST. Loved the hammam, sauna, Cold showers, hot tub, pool, and gorgeous deck with daily bar offerings. I did not eat at the restaurant or drink at the bar so cannot give an opinion on their service/quality there. Beds very comfortable. Loved our terrace and would 100% go back.

Needs AC or fans offered or in room for summers

The welcome was very warm - with excellent translation for English travelling with limited French. The room was comfortable though slightly tight but it had all the requirements and met our needs. The lounge was spacious and the bar was well stocked. The staff were very accommodating in storing our bags on the day of departure. The largest plus was the spa and sauna - just right to feel fully relaxed. I will certainly choose to stay here when next in Chamonix.

My only negative comment relates to the layout of my particular room where there were separate WC and bathrooms. (Not an issue in itself). The WC was very cramped and had the door opening into the bedroom, where the door handle would clash with that from the very pleasant bathroom - also door opening into the main room.
