ibis Colmar Est - Hotel Restaurant en Alsace

Room was comfy and fan did a good job keeping the room cool. Location is good as there are some stores across the street. Breakfast was good overall. Plenty of parking and felt safe & secure there.

Dinners and price of the drinks. Very small menu and none of the options contain a good amount of veggies. Ate there once, went somewhere else for the other 3 dinners. The coke we had with our dinner wasn't really cold, was almost completely flat and cost €4. Almost all french beds are like this, but I wish the beds were a bit longer. Being 1.90 in a 1.90 bed isn't a great fit.

A cozy room and a good shower room. The bar and restaurant are good but you must book ( very busy the night we arrived). Good car park

Guests have not respect for disabled spaces in the car park and this isn’t check by staff. Town Parking advice from staff, whilst the intention was helpful, our car had a roof box which made the height greater than the permitted 2m for town parking. The advice was given standing next to our car!

The staff who kindly welcomed us when we arrived late at night made our weary trip comfortable.. A Korean woman with Anne's name on her chest was so kind. Thank you.

Breakfast is not very good. Maybe it's the weekend, so there are too many customers. There are no knives and forks, so I ask the staff to bring it, and there are no seats.

This is my second visit as this is a convenient stopping point travelling to the UK from Greece. The hotel is particularly welcoming for pets too.

The restaurant was not available as apparently the chef had recently suffered an injury. I had, when booking, checked that the restaurant would be open so this news was a great disappointment having driven all day from Italy.

Saved by the well working air conditioning in 37C heatwave. Welcoming and helpful staff at check-in and bar.

Desperately needs more staff on weekends. The restaurant was almost full at dinner with one single waiter running around. Same situation at Sunday breakfast: no clean plates or cups, empty jam jars and cheese/ham plates. Again looked like just one waiter with an almost full hotel.

+ We stayed at the hotel for a night break on our way to Italy. It was a great "transit" hotel. + Reaching hotel with a car is quite easy. There is free parking with sufficient space. + Room was clean, silent. Essential things were present. + Breakfast was simple, yet good enough. + Check-in and check-out were quite fast.

- It's not very close to Colmar center. It takes some time to walk there.

Really clean, good breakfast, nice stuff (helpful and a plus that they were speaking English) :)

Distance to the city is not that kind of an issue (3-4 km), but the fact that the public transport has an incertain program is…is not their fault, but some extra bus courses would really help the tourists :)

The room was nice and clean The reception was very friendly

The breakfast table was completely empty, the jam and cheese containers were completely empty. Even though there were many guests, only one person was working there, and she certainly could not do all the work

Restaurant attached and other places to eat nearby made it an easy stay. The receptionist was friendly and spoke good English. I generally find ibis a good budget chain,this one seemed to be offering slightly more than I expected - I would stay again

Nothing - you know what you are getting with an ibis, and this seemed slightly better than the norm

Facilities and staff all very good.

Bathroom still an issue with shower water ending up on the floor and out into the bedroom bit. Someone will have a nasty accident one day by slipping. Would suggest shower curtains to be more flexible and longer in length.
