Campanile Reims Ouest - Tinqueux

The check-in area was very clean and trendy, with a nice looking area for breakfast and dinner. The clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was very modern, smaller than some rooms, but with a nice wide-screen tv and comfy bed. The breakfast was described as "continental," making me expect coffee, croissants, and fruit. However the breakfast was really nice! Hot, good-tasting coffee, with warm milk, lots of croissants, cheese, meats, breads, yoghurt, fruit. It looked really nice and was delicious. The staff was very informative, and told me about the champagne history of the area, and about the Reims Cathedral, and the Musee de la Reddition, where WW2 ended in a university "War Room." Totally worth staying at this hotel/motel. I really liked that my room was on the first floor, with my car parked near the room, so it was easy to take things from the car to the room.

When I first saw the hotel/motel, I was a bit worried, as the outside seemed to need some paint, and looked a bit run-down. But appearances were deceiving. The room was very nice, lots of nice people were staying there, and the breakfast was delicious.

Easy to find from A4. We were able to have a ground floor room. The female on reception was excellent, very helpful and spoke perfect English. Beds comfortable, hotel a little tired but staff very attentive. Breakfast not as good as it used to be at Campanile although adequate and coffee was good. Shower very good. Evening meal was good. On the whole a pleasant stop-over.

On an Industrial site so noisy. No handle to shut the volet but we had a small reduction for the inconvenience.

Very convenient for our return from Italy. Despite having to wait for staff at reception when we arrived, and no where to leave the key fob when we departed, the accommodation is always good. We do look forward to receiving some sort of reward for our positive comments as we always use Campanile in Metz on our return to Italy, so both hotels get used regularly by wife and I

We stayed in over 10 hotels on our trip , this wasn’t the cheapest or the most expensive , but the room was big , the shower was great , coffee and tea and water . Only the 2nd hotel they had this . Bed was lovely , Breakfast was same as most did the job . If visit the area again def stay here as a great Chinese food 5 min walk

2nd floor no lift with bags of bike . Ask for ground floor .

We have stayed at this hotel several times while enroute to the South of France.. The room we stayed in with our pet dog had been modernised with a large TV, modern shower ,which worked well, and improved lighting.The staff were friendly and spoke good English.

We did not order the breakfast but found the dinner disappointing.this time as it was overcooked.possibly due to a large group staying at the same time .

Super-clean. Great night's sleep. Very helpful and engaging receptionist - he went the extra mile to address special requests not picked up on my original booking and changed my room to meet my needs as much as possible. I have stayed here before and the staff have always been really friendly and helpful - so clearly staff selection and customer service training are obviously strengths of the management. Great for travelling with a dog - there is a little park right next door/behind hotel.

The price was a little misleading - the original price on booking showed 60euros and only much smaller print showed 69.50 'locally' so that was a bit confusing on arrival - it would be better to show that much more clearly at time of booking. Still good value for price just be more transparent please. After a long journey I don't want to have to query or clarify details. Also my special requests for ground floor plus bath had not been picked up on booking but the receptionist immediately did his very best to find me a room that met my requirements.

I like all the Campanile hotels, this one is up to the usual standard. The staff were helpful, the shutters in my room were not working, and they offered me another room. Proper note was taken that the shutters need to be repaired.

It seemed a bit pricey in relation to other hotels in the chain.

we arrived at 8.30pm, had a call a couple of hours before to ask if we’d like dinner. we then had a lovely meal on our stopover before travelling to the Alps the following day. very comfy beds, good food, friendly staff and great location

Under the circumstances the young man who welcomed us, checked us in, seated us for dinner, cooked, served and cleared dinner did an amazing job.it is clear this hotel is too quiet and understaffed and is still struggling to emerge for COVID, along with all the hospitality industry. The rooms were clean and safe and the meal was basic but satisfactory. An excellent overnight stay on our way to the south.

One of the better updated Campanile hotels. Ideally situated not far from the Autoroute. A good choice of freshly cooked food on the menu for dinner at a reasonable price. Since covid many hotels have stopped the buffets and have introduced a simple menu which we ourselves prefer. Friendly staff with a good sense of humour.
