Upon arrival I had to pay extra 100 euros, the man told it was a deposit (?), really strange. I can imagine you have to pay a deposit for an apartment, but for a room?? Don’t get drinks at the hotel. Two large beers and two juices for the kids: 28 euros. You don’t even pay this amount in Rome at Piazza Navona ;) or San Marco square in Venice ;) but in Tours Nord yes ;) well, figure out where you would prefer the drinks ;) On the way back we didn’t have to pay a deposit. The floor should be cleaned more (also under the sofa).

excellent hotel, comfortable and clean, swimming pool was great after a hot travelling day. The room service was great as we were very tired and the meal was excellent. I would stay again and highly rate this establishment. Very reasonably priced and much better than other places we stayed during our driving holiday.

I was asked to leave a guarantee of 400 euro when I checked in and it has not happened previously in any of the other hotels were we stayed. We stayed in at least over 15 hotels in Spain and France and I was surprised by the request.

Our room was spacious and quiet: we weren't disturbed by noise, either from adjoining rooms or from outside, even though it was a Saturday night and the hotel was pretty full. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was easy to use. The food at dinner was good quality and well cooked. There was a wide range of items for breakfast, and the scrambled egg and bacon were kept replenished. The staff were cheerful and friendly.

At dinner the staff were overwhelmed by the number of diners, which meant we waited c30 minutes for our main courses. The staff apologised, saying many people had booked at the last minute. But you would expect to plan for large numbers the middle weekend of the Toussaint vacances scolaires, wouldn't you?

A good quality stop-off north of Tours, in a quiet out-of-town commercial district. Good parking, outdoor pool, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. Dog-friendly, with safe enclosed grounds including a wooded area.

Only one vegetarian main-course option on the menu and no vegetarian starters, but luckily that day's special starter was vegetarian so it worked out fine and the food was a very good standard, as was the service. We were also recommended a lovely local wine, a dry Vouvray. The shower is in the bath so if you're tall you're likely to be in danger of hitting the low ceiling.

we used to be frequent flyers, but since we got our two small dogs we have travelled by road much more. our experience of so called “dog friendly hotels” has been patchy to say the least. some hotels purporting to be dog friendly should be categorised as “dog tolerant”, while others should be labelled not dog friendly at all because while charging for dogs they don’t allow then in public areas at all. How refreshing to stay at a hotel which actually made us and our two small dogs feel really welcome. they made no fuss, and applied no restrictions. they should be an exemplar to all other “dog friendly hotels, and we would definitely recommend other dog owners to stal there if possible.

booked for a motel type stopover. The room was fine and comfortable. Not all that big for a family of 4 but fine for the one night. It was clean and comfy. food was average but one and breakfast okay but very busy

food could have been better. Breakfast was very busy and it felt like the staff were struggling to keep up with demand. Not really their fault as it was a rush and probably a busy time. just something to be aware of.

Great location - not far from the motorway. Close to fast food options (McDonald’s, kfc, Burger King, subway) if you didn’t want to eat in the restaurant. Friendly staff Comfortable beds including the sofa bed Nice swimming pool

The restaurant did not open until 7 which was a bit inconvenient for us with small children

We had room 430, which boasted a bath as well as a shower, which we appreciated. The room was spacious and well-lit. The bed was comfortable, the room was pitch-black, there was scant noise, and we slept well. We enjoyed a very good dinner; our serveuse Julia was very efficient. The breakfast was wide-ranging and good.

The staff were excellent and made us and our 2 dogs very welcome. They even allowed the dogs into the bar and restaurant. We had a large double room with an entrance area where our 2 big dogs could sleep. The food in the restaurant at night was great and such a great selection at breakfast. 10 out or 10 all around.

Staff very friendly and helpful; pool really nice after a long drive and dinner and breakfast in the hotel was excellent - good value, good food.

The sofa bed in our family room was pretty uncomfortable and thought the corridors on the hotel really needed a good hoover.
