Very friendly welcome. We ate dinner there and it was pretty good, we ate in a breezy, enclosed courtyard at the back. The staff really went out of their way to deal with multiple food allergies, we were really impressed. Simple breakfast - no hams etc iirc - but there was plenty of food. The kids loved the bunks, the personal fans, charging points etc. We parked easily around the corner.

The lift was out of action the following morning, but not a big deal. We realised we could have researched a hotel closer to the town, but that was our fault not the hostel.

There are curtains for beds, and ample locker space for each person. Everything was clean and well organised. Very helpful staff, nice bar/restaurant.

A bit costly for a hostel

Very nice staff and friendly atmosphere. It feels homey and the lobby is a good place to relax in good company, even when travelling solo! Other guests were nice too. Good value and close to city center and train station, and very good restaurant too for lunches or dinners or just a drink (nice mocktails too!)

Minor room furniture issues - bumped by head on the wall popping out over the bed head, bathroom and bedroom doors banging, vague bad smell around bathroom, had some allergies in the morning so probably some mites in carpet or bedsheet. Nothing terribly bad though, it was still very comfortable and clean.

Private room with bunk beds was small but clean, with a nice view. The bike-themed decor was very fun. Location is fantastic for seeing downtown Tours. Nothing fancy about the room, but it was adequate and reasonably priced.

We were on the 6th floor, and the single elevator sometimes took a while. Complimentary bike storage was great but a little hard to get bikes in there. It was difficult to figure out when the downstairs restaurant would be open.

The hostel definitely raised the bar among others, especially in other cities. Staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. Even the cleaning lady lol. For high level floors there is a big elevator. In the room, everything is clean, cozy and new. No problems with ventilation during the warm day: balcony door and window could be freely opened. Bunk beds are really good: there are curtains for privacy, electricity outlets and USB chargers for every bed. Location of the hostel is in the city center. Overall, I would like to come here again.

The only disadvantage is weird scheme with credit cards. They store full information of the card and charge it twice. Than, half of the charge is supposed to return after checking out. I personally don't like the idea of keeping my non-encrypted card information at other places.

A lovely hostel not far from the center of Tours, the room was very small, but enough for a short stay. The common kitchen was not so clean, very small had only a few dishes, and the electric kettle seemed to die a long time ago. The atmosphere is young and very friendly and the staff was helpful. There is free parking on the streets behind the hotel.

The common kitchen was unpleasant to prepare food or to eat.

We booked The People as we needed somewhere to stop overnight (travelling from the UK to the South) We booked a family room which was perfect. Kids slept in the bunk (very safe as it was boxed) Shower room separate to WC area. Good ammount of storage space. We stayed on the 3rd floor and no noise issue. We ate at their restaurant. Food and service was great. Good sized drinks (G&T's)

Only downside is that the room doesn't have AC and we were there during a heatwave. There are fans, but quite small and USB operated, so not very strong.

Private room option super and price super..loved fans 3! And open window option. Back of hotel gets sunrise...

Sheets too much polyester...Not really hot water just so so not great for sore bicycle muscles and I HATE the fact they take 47 euros for deposit who knows when comes back.. why weird and insulting..they freak out of you eat anything in your room.

Location, staff, quick check in, the facility itself, the room, the bathroom, the bed... Oh well, I loved everything. I wish I could have stayed longer. It was a A+ hostel . A special thank you to all the staff members who work so hard to give us travellers a warm and comfortable experience.

My stay was too short... Only 3 nights. I could have easily stayed for 10 nights. But honestly, there was nothing to dislike.

so so clean!! they had their cleaning regulations so in place. also one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in. breakfast for extra charge. pillow, mattress, blanket so comfy! only hostel i can say i would have stayed at for a whole month. restroom, shower all in the 4 bed mixed which made it so easy and convenient. close to train station. 10 min walking. and to chateau's you can take day trips through public transport. close to blois and amboise via public transport. night time the promenade was nice.
