Art Hotel Superior

The reception staff were most pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness was superb in the reception/bar area and our room alike. Overall a great place to rest one’s head. The beds were very comfortable too!

We were shocked at the price of breakfast, €22. Very expensive in our opinion. A little disappointed that we didn’t enjoy breakfast at the hotel each morning. We had a kitchenette in our room. Could have benefited from a kettle, two cups, two spoons and two plates. There was also a microwave in the room too! Why provide a kitchen if one cannot make use of it!

We booked the quad room for family of 4 and we were very lucky to be upgraded to the suite. This suite is one of the biggest hotel room we have ever stayed! It has a huge bathroom (with toilet), a separate toilet, small kitchen, water cooker, 2 TV's (living room and master bedroom) and refrigerator. The master bedroom has a gigantic wall-to-wall closet that was extremely luxurious. We had 2 beds, a queen size and a full size sofa bed. They were very comfortable. We travelled with our own car. We could park on the street next to the hotel for free so we didn't have to pay addition fee for the hotel parking. We used the spa area (with additional cost), which has a Finnish sauna, steam room, and infrared seats. We enjoyed it. Overall we were very happy with the stay.

We were surprised that we had to pay additional fees for the pool (€2,50 pp) and spa (€12 pp including pool). This is not stated in the description of the hotel in the Booking.com site. I think it should. We were also limited to only 1 hour with reservation, which is disappointing. The pool is smaller than we expected, which is why the hotel has to limit the number of people using the pool. The water temperature is also too low so the water was quite cold.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Although the facilities are not exactly new, everything is super clean and very well maintained. Our apartment was much bigger than we had imagined, it was warm and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was incredible, full of healthy options. We enjoyed the pool and the spa (paid separately) and had a lovely vacation there. Our 5 year old could stay in our room for free (slept on the couch) and also had free breakfast. Honestly? We would definitely return for a stay here if ever we decide to visit Aachen again.

Clean, very nice terrace, close to the city, in a calm area. The curtains are good. Nice breakfast.

We had a suite with a kitchen, but the kitchen was not equipped and they said they can only do that if you stay more than 3 months. While we understand that, but at least they should put couple of spons, plates, coffee and tea. We didn't want to cook but we wanted to use the kitchen for small things and that was not possible. The breakfast was really nice but pretty expensive.

We had a spacious suite, which was excellent. The meals and lounge areas were beautiful. We liked the area, being on the city fringe. There were lovely local places to walk to. It was easy to catch a bus into the heart of Aachen (about 15 mins). The breakfast omelettes were really good.

We would have loved a kettle, coffee/tea bags in our room. Some of the ladies on the desk were off hand. Coffee in pots at breakfast would be a vast improvement on the machine coffee.

Very friendly staff , huge room , brilliant breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is exceptionally clean and despite it not being compulsory - mask wearing was the norm including for all staff. Constant cleaning throughout the day and sensible booking for the swimming pool at the time and the additions charge for the hour is more than worth it. There are plenty of communal street parking around too and a lovely area of the city. Easy access via taxis or buses into the part city centre and the train station for further visits is easy to get to too.

you need to have a green permit to drive in Aachen.. can be organised before travelling but Booking.com should really mention this for all their Aachen hotels.

It was the most full of surprises night we spend during our road trip. First, we entered into an apartment, not a room, but a spacious one bedroom appartment, with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen! All I knew was that I booked a room. And I get this amazing appartment for the same price! And we had a big balcony, where we could admire the beautiful sunset. Second, the spa at the hotel was delightful (a small swimming pool and two functional saunas) - wonderful for our tiredness after 8 hours drive through Europe. Thirdly, the quality of sleep (all was quiet and confy) and the friendliness of staff. We were impressed, in totally. We get so much more than we expected for a night stay. And the price was amazing, for all what we get.

The staff, the room (which was actually like a small studio / suite) and the location was great. very quiet neighborhood and so close to the city. The reception staff were exceptionally good and professional. Didnt use other facilities. it was about 1.3 km from the center of Aachen, so very reachable by walk, car or bus. very residential neighborhood so was quiet and nice in the evening.

The only negative point was the beds. the bedroom beds (two single) were ok, but the sofa bed was not very comfy. my daughter had a back ache when were were travelling back.

The room was an amazing one bedroom apartment with 2 queen beeds and 2 bathrooms. Free parking was available on the street less than 50 ft from the entrance, staff was super friendly and spoke english, the rooms were very clean and had a sizeable private outdoor patio with several seats and a table. Additionally the onsite restaurant was delicious and had a nice quiet and intimate atmosphere. Downtown was only an 8 min drive away.

The apartment had a range and an oven but it wasn't functional due to fire safety for the hotel.

Breakfast buffet was great! We really appreciated the Spa service and the little chocolates waiting for us in the superior room. The rooms were really spacious and the bed very comfy.

Sauna costs extra but was nice and worthwhile. The communication via the chat prior to our arrival was not very clear but I did appreciate they spoke English to me.
