Holiday Inn Nürnberg City Centre, an IHG Hotel

We arrived by car, there is a loading zone, so my husband stayed while I checked in. The parking garage is pretty narrow, we were nervous our SUV would scrape going in & out of the garage. The height is 1.8M, decently priced. We traveled with our small dog, small fee. We were upgraded, which was such a nice surprise! The apartment was spacious, we were in a different building- accessible by the main hotel and parking garage. Not far from the main area, we opted for no breakfast as we knew we'd get up and head out. Staff were all very friendly!

It is near a few stripe clubs, so beware if walking to/from hotel with kids. The bed was ok.

Hotel staff were among the friendliest I've come across. Reception was good about getting the check-in done efficiently. No fuss and a real priority to get you settled quickly. Restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is a good choice for at least one evening if you plan to stay in town for a few days. I didn't try the breakfast this time. Hotel is central enough in that it is within the old city fortification walls and a short walk gets you to the busier parts of the town. On arrival at the main train station, the hotel itself is a little walk away. There is a bus and U-bahn that can get you close to it, but it's literally one or two stops. I walked from train station and didn't find it inconvenient. It's fairly straightforward, but it will take about 10 minutes depending on your pace of walking. Plenty of taxis just outside train station also if you arrive late in evening. Room was clean and comfortable. I rested well each of the nights I stayed and there was no outside noise to disturb sleep.

The room was cosy, clean and quiet, there was also a table, a chair, and a comfortable armchair.

There is a night club with strippers in the neighbouring building, which was uncomfortable when returning to the hotel at night. However, the hotel room windows faced a different street of a quiet neighbourhood, which was a relief. The fridge didn't work in the room, which was disappointing, because we had some treats to be stored in the fridge.

The hotel is fantastic, big rooms and very clean and confortable

Location is not the best, in the center of the red district with the night clubs around, tought we didn't have any incident. However metro station is very close and you are in the city center in a matter of a few minutes even by foot

The staff were very kind and friendly, the hotel was clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious and big plus is also the restaurant in the hotel - the food was delicious and great value.

I was there in March and it was a bit cold in the room, even when using the AC to heat the room. Also beware the hotel is in the middle of a red lights district/street, luckily I did not travel with my kids 😀

The location was superb. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. Breakfast fantastic, with many options. Room cleaning every two days, which was fine for us. All amenities are available in the room, others are available upon request. Parking available.

Parking costs 14EUR/day, which is also not too bad compared to other hotels in the area. There was also some free parking option in the hotel, but it was not offered to us (we were not aware of it or the criteria to get the parking space there). Nurnberg's red light district is close if that bothers anybody (not really a negative point, it did not bother us).

extremely efficient check in, fantastic room with everything we needed and extremely quiet. Easy to walk everywhere in town and great parking garage. unknown to us it was a music festival weekend and we were amazed we got such a good deal at the hotel as it was really busy. Finally the breakfast buffet was brilliant with extremely efficient staff keeping every well stocked and a chef cooking eggs and omelettes.

Perfect location, close to city center and public transportation stations, with underground parking; friendly and professional staff; teally good breakfast. An interesting property overall.

Price was a little higher, I guess because of the big exhibition taking place in the city those days.

People are very nice and helpful, rooms are comfortable and quiet. Liked the rooftop city view from my place. Can't say much about breakfast as I haven't tried it.

Front desk is a bit overbooked sometimes, so you may wait a little - but the staff are always polite and doing their best.

Hotel is close to city center and metro station is nearby. Staff was friendly and hospitable, room was clean. I liked the pillow selection (soft and hard). Delicious breakfast. Very good value for money, would book again if will be in the city.
