The area is Getting you in seconds the Felling of The Royality and The Furniture The Piano the letter sofas ,the clocks above the lifts at the Entrance most is like a Goldish Texture so you can Feel like a King ☝️😉👏👏🔝🔝🔝♥️ Thank you RheinGold Hotel i was a Prince and a King with you on my short visit with you . Lovely staff, very clean, good location in town, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, room size good. 20 min walk from station and similar to Wagner's house / museum. Shopping centre round the corner. Convenient cheap shuttle service to festival which included free wine and cake before leaving. Would definitely stay again.

Room was very hot - due to it being summer. But cooled down with windows open. Breakfast not the cheapest but seemed to include wine!

Perfect location, right next to the city center. Handy underground garage with easy access directly to the hotel elevator. Breakfast was good.

Everything was top...I read a post from someone complaining about the parking but there are some parkig spots right in front of the hotel and even if they are ful you can leave the car behind the parked cars, get the parking ticket at the reception and park 10 m down the same street in the underground garage...easy peasy 😁😄

The hotel is one minute walk from the old town. Festpilhaus 30 minutes walk, taxi 7-8 minutes. The breakfasts are excellent. A bus to the festpilhaus is organized. The hotel is convenient for the festival. The staff at the reception helps in all matters, polite, responsive.

The hotel has a sauna, which is open only in the evening, when all hotel guests are in the festpilhaus listening to Wagner's opera..

The music score painted on the wall of the room added a special touch to our stay in this hotel in Bayreuth, the city with rich music history. The room was very clean.

Since we stayed here off-season (no major music festivals), the city was very quiet and dark at night. The location is not bad, but we had to walk a little to have dinner in the city.

A wonderful hotel to stay at for the Bayreuth Festival that is close to the old part of town. They have a wonderful breakfast every morning and arrange a bus to take patrons to and from the Festival House. The staff are gracious and accommodating.

A fluffier pillow (and maybe two, rather than just one)!

Good location, lovely outside appearance, good breakfast (but paid extra), underground parking with direct entrance to the hotel (also paid extra).

For a 4-star hotel, I would expect more facilities in the rooms - a fridge, in particular. The room was quite small. I would also expect the hotel to offer free breakfast and parking - or rather, it can count these costs in it basic tariff rather than charging them extra. It would make guests feel more comfortable and taken care of. The practice of charging extra, I find, should be used by "budget hotels", not by a 4-star one.

They provided a wonderful leather pet bed for our dog and dog dishes. This was unexpected and very nice. We also had a lovely big window, with floor to ceiling glass looking down on a bike path that was very nice.

It would have been good to warn us via email of the covid-testing requirements ahead of time since our area of Germany is not requiring testing any longer. Fortunately my daughter was able to get tested at the Rotmain Center just before they closed for the day, at the suggestion of the hotel staff. We would not have been allowed to stay though if we had come 15 minutes later.

Excellent location, good for networking with fellow opera goers, bus to and from Festspielhaus was excellent

No safe in the room and would have liked kettle for tea and coffee in the room

A bit old fashioned but very well maintained hotel with: - kind and helpfull personell - superb breakfasts - comfortable beds - spacious underground parking suitable also for large cars ... and last but not least, good location
