Berlin Marriott Hotel

The hotels location is perfect for people visiting Berlin for the first time. Close to Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, U Bahn and S Bahn on your door step, along with eateries and so much more. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've experienced as such a variety options and staff very attentive. Our room size was good and the bathroom facilities excellent with waterfall shower. The swimming pool and Gym facilities were also very good. We also dined twice in the restaurant and the food here was delicious. we would certainly stay here again.

I think staff need to monitor the health club better as on a few occasions children were in there unsupervised.

The location is superb. Beds were comfortable. Room of good size. Staff was good.

An example of a high end hotel that fails on some functional aspects. The shower was one of the most unhelpful designs I've seen. A very slippery surface with a further accumulation area right below the shower head and a higher than average height step to exit. The lighting design was also bad. It seems they turn on or off the entire room with a single switch. Not even the entrance lighting is separate from the bed area, or the lamp on the reading table. The small reading lights by the bed don't help with this. Very inconvenient when sharing with a friend. No 24hr food in the bar downstairs.

- Bed very comfortable. - Room very spacious. - Lots of floor to ceiling windows making room very bright. - Had very quiet room facing green garden in the back. - Blackout curtains excellent. - Shower very nice. Bathroom spacious. - Clean room and maids show up every day reliably. - Nice large lobby with many sofas and chairs and tables.

- Wifi very spotty in most of the room - but found one spot in room that was fairly reliable. - Calling guest services from room sometimes impossible. On occasion no one answers even after calling every 5 minutes for 20 mins - Thermostat control not digital. Only has "-" and "+" to make it colder or warmer. But no numbers for temperature whether you want to set room to a specific temperature or see the current temperature.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, perfect location. Everything was absolutely wonderful.

CHECKOUT morning: sleeping - someone knocks on the door 9:30. Me soundasleep, panicing trying to find something to put on, but the door opens - room service, cleaners. Like WHAT??? This was really weird- i was so confused. Before the breakfast time and checkout day - this was weird. Also ordering from breakfast menu was complicated, nothing we ordered was the right 😂 vut it was OK since we didnt mind the food we got. i actually thought we overslepts our welcome. DO use the “do not disturb sign”

Very comfortable room and bed, plus the breakfast was pretty good. The location works very well and we were able to leave our bags securely in order to explore Berlin.

it felt rather anonymous and a little corporate for a leisure visit. I am also not sure that it was particulary good value but you can be reassured that staying at a Marriott hotel is good quality so for many it is worth the premium. I like Marriott hotels and always have done because the staff go the extra mile.

The location was perfect and the hotel itself was spectacular. The room was spacious and very clean. But what really stood out was the staff, always super professional and polite and willing to offer any assistance needed with a smile. Unfortunately I don’t remember any names but that doesn’t really matter because every single staff member we met was superb. Will definitely stay there again if I visit Berlin again and would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality and for making our stay as good as possible!

Very nice hotel and loved our large room, the nice brekkie and the professionalism of the staff. We also had access to the club lounge, which was definitely worth paying the extra expense for as it has a good range of food and drinks, with spectacular views across Berlin.

Maybe the layout of the breakfast area could be improved as both guests and staff seem to cross over each other and there were noticeable bottle necks in the toaster and hot food areas.

Stayed here 2 nights. Location is super and staff service minded . Breakfast is so nice , Fresh and delicious. the rooms were quiet and you slept really well in the beds.

We had a lot of dust in our room. No soap in a Bottle, only a Shared hard handsoap to use in the bathroom. Swimming area was messy. Dirty towels all over places and used tissues on the floor. Kids were yelling and playing in the pool. Dont expect relaxing environment here, if you meet a family with small kids .

The 3 of us (friends) had a 6th floor panorama room (good view of the city skyline, including the TV tower) with two doubles and it was good enough for our budget/needs. Everything you'd expect and want from a chain hotel. Very central location, next to stations so you can get about town. 'Nice people in the Hot Dog cafe...make sure you have something with the crispy cheese bits!

Although central, there're not an abundance of options in the vicinity for eating and drinking in the evenings so next time we'd would stay in a more lively neighbourhood. There's not even a proper convenience store (the Spar in the station isn't worth bothering with).

Very near to the u-bahn and bahnhof,some reconstruction in u-bahn so it was a little bit tricky to come from the airport to the hotel.Back to the airport we travelled with a taxi it was appr.60 euros.The room was very big,beds are comfortable,room spotlessly clean and very peaceful.Breakfast was excellent.Would definitely come back again! A big shopping center nearby

The shower was a little bit tricky to use but I got help from the staff.Not a big problem after all
