B&B Hotel Berlin Potsdamer Platz

Location quite central and quiet. Only 1km from Potsdammer Platz which provides transportation to any point in city. Taxi service right in front of Hotel. Bus stations within 100m.

Staff not very informed. Had to find out about transportation from people other than staff. Even though I had been assured by Hotel that i could use my European credit card to pay, this was denied when i arrived and informed that it could not be changed from what i had submitted with Booking.com which did not support my card. This means that i will avoid using booking.com in future european travel.

The room was small but good for what it was. Very clean. Value for money is really good compared to other places around.

I arrived late and the check-in was closed, which is OK, as there is a machine to check in. I had problems with checking-in with the machine, which couldn't find my booking using the booking.com confirmation number or pin. The security guard tried to help me but couldn't not (appreciated!). Eventually a manager who had finished his work hours and was taking rest at that time was very kind to come back to the "office" and help me checking in. This was very kind. Booking.com confirmation had nowhere the number I had to input in the machine. Once you have the confirmation number the rest of the process using the machine is very simple. So booking.com confirmation should have that number which is required (and exists, as the manager had it) and not another one which was of no use.

The property was clean, staff were very friendly, and there were lots of places to eat nearby. There is a bus stop less than 100 feet away and you can walk to the nearest train stations easily.

Bring a white noise machine or use your phone as one if you have kids or are a light sleeper. It’s no fault of the hotel, but outside can be very noisy in any city.

Friendly reception staff, pre check in baggage storage, central location and the door code entry instead of a key is excellent Room was clean and bright and provided a comfortable stay

No English TV channels available, Snack vending machine out of order entire stay No tea/coffee facilities in room which at £90 a night I would usually see in other hotels at this price

This hotel was really well located within 2km from the Brandenburg Gate. The staff were very friendly! We were able to check in early for a good price and our room was a decent size for 3 people. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

If you were planning to spend time at your hotel there's not really extra facilities. Just the restaurant where you have breakfast.

Excellent location, 7 minutes walk to Potsdamer Platz, close to metro station, direct bus to Central Station. Clean rooms, not big, but you have everything you need, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. It would have been nice to have something to prepare your coffee/tea. I would come again, definitely recommended!

The breakfast, because I'm looking for the bacon and scrambled egg, but it is in the choices,

Close to bus stops and metro (under 5 minute walk, at least 2 minutes from it though). Very comfortable bed. Plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body soap (although it is a 3 in 1). Warm shower and varies between shower and jet setting. Easy code to get into hotel and room after hours.

One ply toilet paper.

Rooms were large, great shower, location was near the metro and underground and walking distance to main tourist attractions. Local restaurants and cafe. There is a burger bar and a cafe on the road which were fantastic.

We did struggle to find it initially, but that was maybe our problem.

A comfortable and clean hotel with good facilities. Good value and a fairly good location.

Nothing really. I'd love hot drink making facilties in the room but I know that's not so common as in the UK
