The location is fantastic. It's in a really lively area with great restaurants and cafes. We particularly loved the artisan bakery on the corner. We had our breakfast there each day, we didn't try the hotel's offering.The transport links are amazing. We used the tram more than the ubahn. (We recommend getting a Berlin Welcome card).The bed was really comfortable and the room had a small kitchenette which was useful.

Not much. The decor is very much dated but that is ok by me as long as the place is clean and the bed comfortable.

Exceeded my expectations. I had a really positive experience. I got to check in early, the room was large, spacious, well-heated, well-equipped and came with a kitchenette and balcony. Staff at reception were very helpful and brought me tea and coffee. Secure storage of belongings with safes in rooms and 24/7 luggage storage in a cordoned-off area at reception. The room was in an inner courtyard and thus quiet despite being located on a busy main street. Location was central with multiple public transport options and many amazing cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel offers free room upgrades upon availability and doesn't stinge with its guests.

I was delighted with the location of the Zarenhof. Near to public transport and in a very vibrant area with a colourful park nearby. Shopping was easy with a large Rewe nearby and plenty of cafe and take out within reach. Staff were really helpful and freindly and the room was a good size with everything well thought out, a nice balcony and spacious.

I think for the price and the location of this original art nouveau apartment block, I have nothing to critise.

I booked it as a surprise for my daughter's stay just before her Honeymoon. It is very good. We are very happy with the apartment given to us. Beautiful and clean. They even allowed us to decorates it the way we wznt to welcome the happy couple. Very good Location and easy for public transport. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the night reception staff very supportive. Love to recommend it to friends and family. ❤️

I have booked it as a surprise for daughter do we need to decorates it and Parking is big issue. We have to do some trips to drop stuff and it is very inconvenience that they don't have short stay Parking.

I love the way the lobby being separated from the entrance to the hotel building. It gives me privacy. The location is also superb. Easy to commute. The bed and pillow are also perfect for me.

The fifth floor room over the dining room seems to fill with the smell of cooking in every morning. The window of the fifth floor room is with a blind. So light fills the room.. The room is bright early especially in the summer morning.

Got bigger room than first intended due to mistake with the prior room we had gotten. I liked how quickly and politely personnel responded to our requests. Place overall was very clean and can't complain about the quality of services. The localization was top tier, could stay there a while longer. Breakfast prices were a bit over the top but there's a lot of caffees with cheaper breakfast offers.

We had some issues with a broken lamp switch in our bathroom and got the wrong room at the beginning so the room we got later was bigger but a bit away from the other colleagues. Also a recommendation: getting the right price list for the parking spot nearby hotel was a bit messy as the prices in the mobile app varied from those the parking officer told us. If you could provide more guidance for clients in regard to parking rules that could be helpful.

Very nice courtyard. It is hidden from outside street. Delicious breakfast. Close to ‘Berlin on Bike’ , Planetarium and Graffiti activity(All that we did :)). Close to public transport, we didn’t use it though. Probably next time

The street itself isn’t look so nice. The building is old. All that affects not so good as first impression. The parking is city underground parking not so close to the hotel

Very nice breakfast with a good variety of things. The location next to Kastanien Allee, Kollwitz Platz and the Biergarten Prater is excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet backyard full of trees, flowers and chipping birds. The tram number 10 takes you from Berlin Hauptbahnhof straight to the hotel (get off at Eberswalder Strasse station) in 15 - 20 minutes.

Great location for access to Berlin city. Many eating places and bars. Felt very comfortable in the area and the receptionists were very helpful. Although an older building it was very quiet and a good night sleep. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Don't be put off by the entrance, behind those doors is a very quiet courtyard.

We booked a room but got a whole apartment. Excellent location right next to Eberswalder strasse U-bahn station and busy crossing with lots of restaurants. Our rooms were all located in a quiet courtyard. We thought that the breakfast was one of the best for a long time. All essentials were renovated in the apartment. Staircase was DDR style :)

The outdated look of apartment and staircase may bother some travelers. For us it was ok.
