MOXY Berlin Humboldthain Park

The hotel had a great vibe and look. All the common areas are really cool and hip. Well decorated according to the idea of a trendy hip city. The room was very spacious, the bed was quite comfortable (I kinda wish there were bigger and more pillows, there were just 2 regular size pillows on a king size bed). Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, there were a few minor issues during our stay and they were always super attentive and happy to help. Even provided complimentary drinks which was really thoughtful. Those details talk about how much they care about hospitality and making the guest have a good experience.

Only the issue with the pillows and I’d forget during the day and then at the room reminded of that but since there are no telephones I never made it to the front desk to ask for more pillows… but other than that it was a great place.

The design of the hotel is cool. The rooms are spacious, the bed is super big and cosy, great flat TV with Netflix available, big windows and air conditioning. The bathrooms were quite big, with great shower! It was super clean and the location a bit further from the bustling city. All in all, 10/10! They have lockers where you can put the laguage, so even if you arrive early or depart later than check-in it's grear!

The air condition in the gym didn't quite work, so it was like a sauna in 34 degrees.

The hotel was very spacious. We got a Queen sleeper room. The room was clean, comfortable and had good aircon. It was quiet when you wanted to sleep. I like how the hotel was so close to the train station so you could easily get into the centre of town. I would recommend getting the train day pass from the ticket machine if you’re going a few places. There were lots of food outlets, supermarkets and pharmacies round the corner. They are also right by the Berlin Wall underground tunnels which we have booked to hear more about the fascinating history.

Only very minor - we had room service on one of the days and we only had 1 bath towel replaced not two. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

We are from the US and the entire staff was so accommodating to the fact we couldn’t speak perfect German. Every interaction was met with understanding and really making sure we were met with a gracious and attentive staff that made the adorable stay event better! literally the pictures don’t do this place justice! it was also I. the heart of the community which made it even cooler.

I can’t say we didn’t like much other than having to wait for our room door to close fully before the latch closed fully.

Breakfast was great, and good quality/price, with lots of choice, and always enough (replenished frequently during the extended breakfast hours), access from/to the airport and to the city is excellent due to close-by train/underground/S-bahn station Gesundbrunnen (direct train takes you in 30 min to the airport, with only 2 stops, for only 4 euro/pp). Clean and rather large room, fast elevator.

Sometimes the music was a bit too loud and more for a dance club than for a morning breakfast, but it was not bad enough to complain, and the room was too warm even with airco on most cooling - luckily we could sleep with the windows (partly) open for most of the night.

This is my second stay at Moxy Humboldthain. The location makes it easy to find from Gesundbrunnen which has lots of connections to everywhere else (including the airport train and S + U lines). There is also a massive shopping centre at Gesundbrunnen if you have forgotten anything / luggage restrictions prevent you from bringing a lot. The hotel itself is brilliant - secure, clean and with a friendly atmosphere. Staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. The room was spotless. The downstairs bar and breakfast area is comfy whether you are sat reading, doing some work or just having a quiet drink. It's also a great place if you want to sit and eat your evening meal. Great selection of drinks and snacks if you fancy it. Bathroom was exceptionally clean. The rooms are well sound-proofed to the traffic outside - if you get a back facing room its even better.

The room could do with a few more amenities - mini kettle with cups maybe? Some guests were incredibly noisy - take some ear plugs if you are light sleeper- but that's nothing that the hotel could be blamed for!

It was a birthday trip and the staff had made an extra effort with decorations in the room. It was a good size and really clean. The bathroom was well equipped with nice complimentary toiletries. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made extra effort with any queries we had.

The only additional thing in the room would have been a kettle and facilities to make a hot drink. We booked a taxi back to the airport via hotel and it would have been better if a fee was agreed beforehand. As it was the fee was double of the pre booked taxi which took us to the hotel on arrival. Perhaps an agreement between the hotel and local drivers would be something to look at.

small issue- pillows were super flat, otherwise everything else was great! Staff was super friendly. Great spaces in the day to get some work done. Not close to a lot of great food options within walking distance, but enough for a short weekend. Close to train station to get to anywhere in Berlin. It takes a good 20-30 min if not more to get to city center and main attractions in Berlin. But Berlin is a huge place so that's to be expected. Right next to Berlin Underworld tours- definitely would recommend!

Room was great, nice reception area, I didn't get a chance to use it much but it seems like it would be a great location if you needed to do a little work or just relax. Very handy for the train station and my conference location. Staff were very helpful.

It would be nice to have somewhere to store clothes in the room, it's a bit strange not to have a single drawer or a single cupboard. I didn't try the breakfast because I'm vegan an didn't look like there would be anything I could eat or the option for non dairy milks etc.

Very well priced, location was fine for travelling in and out of the city plus on the direct line for Airport (FEX) which is only 30 mins away. Staff were courteous, happy to help and to go above and beyond for any requests. Modern rooms, TV could be cast to so perfect for anyone who’s wanting to stream at night rather than watch German TV etc. Subway and Train station are a 5 minute walk from the hotel, the hotel is also near a Galleria for any shopping needs while staying.
