The employee at the reception just said "next" to me as I was waiting in line to check-in in the evening time. I told your employee: How about a "Good Evening for a start!" Because it is expected - no matter how many stars the hotel has - for the staff to greet a guest like so for ex.: "Good evening! How can I help you?" - especially, if that person is working in the hotel business. But to say "Good Evening" is also taught in school usually. So, that is already a big negative point and the fact that the facility was great (but this is expected from Mariott as it is not a cheap category hotel chain), it still gives a sad overall result in the end!

I could check-in very early, I was amazed that I could use the room at 9.30 in the morning of the first day. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room had everything I needed, including an ironing board and iron for laundry.

Breakfast was good, but not as good as I expected. For at least 2 days croissants were not freshly baked, but old and crumbly. The coffee machine had some problem and until fixing it there was a long queue waiting for coffee. Not bad, a solid 8 or even a 9.

The room was clean and well equipped. Staff was good and helpful. Check in, Check out was smooth and prices quite reasonable.

Breakfast was not that great specially fruits which were not good to consume. Public transport ie Train station is 20 mins walk, and the taxis need to be prebooked or they take 30-60 mins to arrive.

We stayed overnight as a couple for a family visit at a close-by village. The hotel is very new, the room was very clean and comfortable, the team very friendly and the fitness center had good facilities and a nice view. Location very close to motorway but still quiet.

Wardrobe space is ideal for a business hotel, for two travellers on vacation might be a bit limited. No coffee and water in the room but this might be due to COVID situation.

Little remote from restaurants when the hotel restaurant is closed (Sunday)

it’s located very close to my family, so personally very convenient for me. Rooms are a good size and very tidy.

Expect the functional decor, everything in right angles and grey, but the simplicity helps the feeling of cleanliness. There was .festive effort made in the public areas with Christmas decorations.

Nice place. Practical and close to the DLR premises, very useful if you are travelling for work and yes need to optimise your time and not to worry about the traffic jams.

There is no free parking... not even for a short time. On top, no light or cheap breakfast is offered... neither a coffee machine nor similar for the bedroom. The WiFi connection is working nominally good... but you may realise when there are too many people connected.

- Overpriced parking (15EUR for 10h) not included in the hotel price. Hotel is not in a crowded area (near to a road) and parking was empty. - Bathroom with a sliding door that was not closing properly. If you are sharing the room, you may not get the privacy you diserve.

Right sized room. The food's good quality at breakfast, for a fair price. Modern furniture in the room.

The car must placed in their parking (there are no public slots in the area), which is unexpectedly expensive considered that it was almost empty. The bathroom' door, yet stylish, isn't really functional.

Great stay, the room was very clean and comfortable and delicious international buffet breakfast! We had a problem of noise the last night, the night receptionist offered us a replacement room. I really appreciate the customer service manner.
