ACHAT Hotel München Süd

Nice hotel. Everything corresponds to the description on Booking. Check in and check out in 2 minutes. No problem with payment. The rooms and the entire hotel are clean. The metro station is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Direct line to the central square (16 minutes). We used convenient underground parking (15 euros per day) in the same building. But, you can park for free on the street or on the parking behind the hotel (10 euros). Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There is a safe, a fridge, a coffee machine with tea and coffee sets. The plumbing new and works great. Very comfortable mattress and snow-white bed linen. WI-FI work very well. The air conditioning worked great and the hotel was quiet, we didn't hear the neighbors. There are shops nearby (Lidl and DM) Great option - you could cancel your booking before the day of arrival.

Huge pillows are a disaster. They even come out of the pillowcase, which is not very hygienic. Strange design when there is a glass wall between the bathroom and the room. The problem is to turn on the lights at night. Very dirty windows in the room for a 4-star hotel. Yes, there is a construction site next to the hotel. But with the windows closed, we couldn't hear anything.

Our double room was rather spacious and bright with comfortable bed. There is a coffee machine and fridge in the room. Breakfast quality was very good and exceeded expectations, yet it felt that place could do slightly better with a bit more staff, since there were really many guests, that required speedy delivery and table cleaning. This however was well outweighed by the great variety of breakfast options. Much recommended. Hotel location is rather good. Easy to access by car (parking options available at a cost). At the same time, just 17 min metro ride to Marienplatz.

While bathrooom is very spacious and bright, a daylight comes through a glass wall that is the only thing separating your WC and room. Glass obviously has matte surface, so covers details. I understand it is a modern and brave design, but would prefer a bit more privacy. Probably not all rooms have this, but we had our share of luck :)

The room and staff. Breakfast was good. I needed a lactose free coffee and the staff would prepare that for me each morning. English was always sufficient to solve communication. Eriana was great at the concierge, advice, booking my train tickets etc. Slight mix-up with prepayment but it was all sorted quickly and without any fuss. Very close to the underground station which made access to the city very easy, about 10 stops from memory or roughly 15 minutes.

I felt a little unsafe in the shower and was afraid of slipping. A non slip mat in the shower would help. It's harder to clean maybe but it is safer. Would have liked some free weights in the exercise room. It was a little noisy with some nearby construction but that isn't the hotels fault and won't last forever.

Room was great, breakfast also good. Staff were always friendly and willing to help, even with a first time traveller as l was. I didn't speak German but that wasn't a problem, all front-line staff spoke good English. Less than a 5min walk to an underground station, and only about 15min or 9 stops to the city. Quiet location. I definitely would stay again.

The shower was great but l felt a little unsafe with my footing when showering, it felt a little slippery especially when raising one leg to wash your foot. There was a little noise during my stay due to nearby construction. But this was not the hotel's fault and normally the area is nice and quiet.

I'm a regular guest of this hotel as its location fits well with the company I work for. I like their breakfast service, the friendly staff and small but sufficiently equipped gym/wellness. The U-bahn station is very nearby, giving you access to all of München.

Adding a weights rack and a few extra fitness mats in the gym would be great. The choice of restaurants nearby is limited, but there is a decent Italian restaurant 'Ceasars' and a steakhouse 'Kuche im Kraftwerk' within walking distance. Also plenty junk food places, if you fancy that.

Location was great! AND I would like to give a big thank you to the girl working at the breakfast. I think her name is Sophie/Sofia ??? On Sunday when everything was closed and we needed a potato for our competition in European Street Food Awards 2022 that was held in Sugar Mountain, and she asked the staff in the kitchen and gave us a potato. No option for making tea or coffee in the rooms. big disappointment in a 4 star hotel.

The room was nice, and spacious with comfy beds. The bathroom was very nice with the great power of the shower head and responsive heat adjustment just as I like it. I came back later and had a good night's sleep as the rooms are quiet.

There was not much I could say as a negative. The breakfast coffee machine took ages so we ordered from the staff who were nice to make us a delicious cappuccino that put me right back on my feet. Overall no downsides to the stay

I'm grateful for the comfy bed, the super friendly and helpful staff, the 24h reception desk service, the nice design of the lobby, the bar and the corridors, and the view of the tree tops. The outside seating area was also a nice place to sip on a cocktail.

The first room I stayed in had a bad case of mould in the bathroom but the staff was very fast to offer me a different room upon my complaint, which had no such problems. The beds in both rooms were comfortable but the fake leather design was coming off and looked worn and old. I'm not a fan of the carpet floors either as they looked a bit used and you never know what lives in there. The hotel is located two minutes away from the subway but the area has a sketchy vibe (business / industrial, shady characters hanging out) and I was just praying to God that it was safe for walking late at night.

Clean, comfortable and enaugh and people was nice. Close to train station and city center and view from the room was nice.

Bathroom separated from the room with a blury / kindof a transparent window/wall and it is not sound proof. It is really annoying to go toilet if there's another one in the room. Cleaning staff was working like a week up service, they nock the door 3 times for asking "when are you going to make check out" It was already before the checkout time and you can easily get this information from the reception that I'm still here.

Lovely little hotel that was so convenient for me and I have recommended to business colleagues. For the price and the fact I booked last minute it was great. Reception and staff were also fabulous.

Wanted to make myself a coffee in the room but no kettle so sad times. Also room was really hot with temperature control locked so had to open windows.
