Holiday Inn Hamburg, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful foyer. Although rooms were dated, they were of a good quality, comfortable, clean, and spacious. Aircon wasn’t working, but we could open the windows a little, and the room felt cool enough. Breakfast was the usual fare, so not as good as expected though, but really lovely to see Bircher muesli as an option.

We expected the breakfast to be better in this hotel. The coffee was actually awful! Parking situation is not good. There’s 6 free spaces right at the front door (and we got one - hooray!). Else there’s free parking out on the streets, or you pay €20 for the garage. Not cheap considering there’s cheaper garages in the centre of the city, and this hotel is outside the centre. This price point really needs revisiting!

The room was big, the breakfast was very good with many options and the hotel was quiet. The staff were very helpful during our stay. also, after we left they helped us to locate an item and sent it to our home address.

Parking was expensive @22 Euro per day. Dining options very limited. Location is outside the city.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. Everything was perfect for a few nights of stay. The lake bridge view from the room was also great. Thank you. :)

There is a parking space but it is a bit far. I didn't like the walk from the parking space to the hotel. It felt like a bit shady area.

The staff were really helpful, the rooms very spacious, the breakfast had it all! They were all so kind and smiling at all times.

The neighborhood was kind of empty in the evening which made it a bit frightening to get from the train station to the hotel.

we got the executive room which was really nice! When asking for an electric car charging tbey said they have a free tesla destination charger which was really nice especially since you otherwise need to pay for the garage .

The EV tesla charger turns off after 6h. So dont try and set it to finish charging when leaving in the morning.

The rooms were a nice size, the air conditioning worked quite well and the cleaning service was good.

The breakfast bar and options were very good. They catered for all our tastes and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints regarding the breakfast.

It's one block to the bus station. Personnel are good and helpful

Location was confusing. For somebody new to Hamburg, it's tricky to find it. The sink in the washroom. Is almost block.

Excellent view, comfy room, huge breakfast, great service.

Surcharge of 20€ to charge EV in the parking lot, a little noisy room due to central location, and the unneccessarily stale miny croissant at breakfast.

Room was large, well lit, and clean. Breakfast was also nice.

All lights in the corridor of every floor were ON all the time, very annoying in this time of looming energy crisis.
