Hotel Flandrischer Hof

Very nice hotel. Located in a very cozy area close to a lot of restaurants, bars and parks. Around 30 minutes walk to the Dome and Central station. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Super good WIFI.

Missed air-conditioning, but the rooms had a fan. Wished for two beds but got a double bed, however, this is probably a Booking mistake, not the hotel.

Room 632 was very good. I had enough space for more than 3-4 pieces of luggage and a spacious desk where I could work very well. The room was on the opposite side of the boulevard and was not noisy at all, very clean and with curtains that really block the light in the morning. The fridge and the clothes spaces were spacious.

A bit too warm at night (June 2023)

As a regular visitor to this hotel, I find the hotel a perfect bolthole for the city. It always offers everything you need for a weekend stay in Cologne. Close to shops, amenities and public transport.

Some of the public areas (the bar area etc) are starting to look a bit dated. Bar area could benefit from more seating and offering a place to wait for travelling companions.

Clean and spacious room. Location is great. Wi-Fi connection is very good. Various breakfast options.

The pillows were not so comfortable. There are some stairs before reaching the elevator, so bear it in mind in case you are coming with heavy luggage.

The hotel is in a central position. The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times.

Unfortunately, the rooms do not have AC and even if the nights were cool, the rooms get really warm at night. The road side rooms are quite noisy at night.

Not a problem for us, but there are a lot of stairs to negotiate going along the corridors which might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. The underground car park is quite tricky to negotiate.

location is very good close to trum station and plenty of restaurants and facility's i highly recommend

the beds are great, the only thing are the pillows..there too soft

The bed was pretty loud every time I turned around, and the pillow was unmanagably huge which made it difficult to sleep (in my sleeping style)

What a wonderful surprise! The room was big, cozy and clean. The bathroom was excellent, clean and well organised. the beds were tidy and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet (silent Jazz music from the streets during the afternoon, but the night was totally calm) The location was perfect!

It would have been great if there would have been a USB slot for recharging the mobile.
