Gästehaus Centro

The guesthouse was just in the centre of the city. We are a family of 5 and we've had to book a family room..The staff were kind enough to add an extra bed for our little girl...with no charge. The breakfast was very nice with a nice variety of food for every taste or allergy. There is a parking hall just attached to the hotel for 24 € or you can park far away and pay 13€ a week. We did choose the second option(no need for a car anyway) You can walk and go to visit the "Sea Life". We loved 😍 Kostanz, plenty place to visit or just to walk around and enjoy the beautiful city. The staff were very kind and very helpful with all the information we needed. We are definitely coming back again.

Honestly nothing.....perhaps I would add some croissants for breakfast.

The location is excellent as its close to city center and tourists areas. The parking garage was right outside the side door, very convienient. The breakfast was very european with breads, meats and cheese's along with other small items. I found it very appropriate. If you are looking for a large eggs to order or somthing like that, you will be dissappointed. The staff was very friendly and took care of our needs. Overall a nice stay and worth the money spent. I would stay here again if I were going to Konstanz.

We booked a room for 1 night, and being in a very good and easy-accessible location was vital for us. So, we enjoyed our short stay. It had an elevator, and we could easily take our luggage to the room. The staff was very helpful with the check-in process, as well as providing us with a day ticket for transportation in Konstanz. Also, they were very helpful with keeping our luggage after check-out. We really liked our short stay at this hotel.

A bit noisy, as the window opens right to the train station, but it didn't bother us, as we are OK with the noise. But for those who would prefer to have a longer stay in a quite area, this hotel could not be the best match.

Location right at the main station is good if you want to explore the city and main sights by foot. They do also give you a free bus ticket so you can really be mobile. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, they even offered soy and other types of milk, veggie options like fresh-cut vegetables and veggie spread. We liked that there were different pillow types to choose from.

One shutter in our room didn't work (the strap was wrapped around our radiator's thermostat, which was wet for some reason?). That would have helped block out more noise from the street (they do give you ear plugs though). The bathroom/shower was very small. We didn't like the coffee.

Breakfast is good. Rooms are comfortable and large. Bathroom is the largest one I have seen at a hotel so far. The staff is polite and helpful. Young lady Ms. Natasha has done her best to arrange our rooms. Location is great.

Reception area might be more comfortable. The hotel needs a lobby area. Enterance is not at the main street.

It was a good cheaper priced hotel, as I had a single room. Only thing was it was right at the top 4th floor, as I can't really climb stairs, but the lift was working. The air con worked great, as it was very hot. Its just very hard to get any cheap accomodation in Konstanz. Its right in the centre, over Mcdonalds & opposite train station, so its very central. Just a lot of steps to reception. Anyway had a good 1 night stay, as I was travelling to Italy. Nice hotel.

The location is best! It's in the old centre with everything one needs close by. The lake is close by too. Location is 10 out of 10. I was not expecting, but when I arrived I got tickets for 2 days to travel by buses and trains in the area for free. And another surprise I got an update to my room. One more surprise I found a fully equipped kitchen in wardrobes.

- We had the best room in the hotel with balcony and big window facing to the lake. The view is spectacular, I love the sunrise view every morning from the window. - The staffs are very friendly and helpful. My kids got some small welcome toys/candy during the check-in and the receptionist lady helped me to bring all the luggages and buggy to the room (there's elevator but we need to walk some stairs to reach room-404) - There's day ticket parking for 8€ in Döbele (ask the card in the receptionist) which is cheaper than normal price. - You could take bus back to the hotel (tickets to use bus in Constance area for free were given during check-in). - Location is perfect for sightseeing or shopping (opposite of Hbf, few meters from an outlet, McDonald is on lower ground for quick snack, etc). It's also less than 1 hr to visit beautiful Rhine Fall in Switzerland. - There instant noodle as one of the options for breakfast. - The noise from the street was not disturbing us at all - Our room was pretty modern and newly renovated, i.e. there're USB sockets near beds for fast charging, touchscreen mirror for extra light in the bathroom, etc.

- Room is not barrier free, but for us no problem at all - Breakfast could be a bit better, there was Bretzel that my kid likes but it's only available on Sunday and not on the other days. - It would be nice to have free slippers in the room because the floor is not a carpet and quite uncomfortable for barefoot in winter (we have our own last time)

Exceptional staff went out of their way to help us with luggage and laundry the morning we were checking out. Our room on the top floor had amazing views. It was one of the few places we stayed in that had air conditioning.

My wife, who is in a soft cast for a broken ankle, had to do some steps, despite there being a lift. Couldn't really be helped, but it was difficult for her. But the staff went out of their way to help during breakfast and help us in other ways.

Location is perfect! Just right in front of the train station. It’s just the same building with McDonald’s ! Don’t follow Google map’s direction.

When we check in at 3:00 P.M., the room still not ready! But at last they give us asap.
