HARBR. hotel Konstanz

Our duplex suite was a good size, very clean and looked new/recently refurbished. It was well soundproofed so there was no traffic or other noise. Breakfast was included and was excellent, with plenty of choice. We were able to park on site which was helpful.

The location was OK - it looked unprepossessing at first as it is on a main road next to a roundabout and surrounded by modern commercial buildings. It is not beside the water, but it's a very short walk to the river and about a 10-15 min walk from Konstanz Old Town and the harbour. It is probably more peaceful for being slightly away from the centre, so not necessarily a negative. The air conditioning didn't cool the whole room very effectively (?the thermostat was too close to the aircon unit). The sofa bed wasn't great - as a bed it was very squeaky and as a sofa the bottom cushions kept sliding off.

Very good location: close to Bodensee and swimming spots, Old Town just across the bridge. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooms with air conditioning and soundproof windows. Breakfast was good and with lot of choices even if you arrived there late. Lot of books and magazines about Konstanz and Bodensee in the lobby so you can get ideas for your trip.

Maybe a bit expensive but as Konstanz was fully sold out it was not a surprise. We were happy that someone had cancelled booking and we were able to stay in the hotel (and stay in Konstanz).

Great modern hotel near the Rhein river in Konstanz. Friendly service, superb very spacious parking in garage, really good breakfast buffet, quiet room and a Samsung roof-integrated AC unit (came in very handy) as a definitive bonus. All in all a great stay, had a good nights sleep cannot complain.

Single-person hotel room was 200e and to me in Germany that feels a lot. Last minute booking though. And it is on the Swiss border, for Switzerland it is normal price. A bit slow service in the reception for checking in/out.

The hotel and the rooms have a great design. Everything is very modern, cosy and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with a baby and everything worked well with a baby too: there was a very comfortable travel cot in the room (upon request when booking), good high chairs in the breakfast/dinning room and a great baby changing table in the toilets in the hotel lobby. Rooms were accessible with an elevator and big enough to take a stroller into the room. The rooms were nicely designed with a lovely sitting area in the window, comfortable beds and modern bathroom with a modern shower. The rooms were very quiet with no street noise. The location of the hotel was amazing, 2 min to the Rheinufer (Rhine promenade) and ca 15 min to the historic centre and harbour of Konstanz. The area around the hotel had a lot of little restaurants too (we recommend "Alte Metzgerei") and a lovely park just opposite the hotel. We had breakfast, drinks and dinner in the nice hotel lounge/dinning room which is very cosy. The breakfast buffet was amazing, lots of variety for food and drinks and excellent quality too. We had to go in slots (due to Covid-19?) but there was flexibility and no rush to get the table back. We can highly recommend the hotel and will stay here again next time we visit Konstanz.

The HARBR Hotel is not the cheapest possibility to stay overnight in Konstanz but we thought it was worth the money.

The place is very tasteful furnished and stylish and in an excellent location to the city. Near but still quiet

The breakfast is good but it misses an eye for details (local and changing products, interesting ingredients, a la carte eggs) that I would expect for such a place and that would pair excellent with the otherwise tasteful place . … it is more along your usual sausage and egg line. Also free coffee throughout the day is by now a bit a standard and lacking here.

We love Hotel Harbr and often stay there on our occasional visits to Konstanz. The rooms are tastefully decorated without being overstuffed, the tall windows are wonderful and give the room a special touch, and the bathrooms are modern and spacious. The breakfast buffet provides everything we need and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The best about the hotel is its location only a ten minutes walk away from the center of town - away from the hustle but close enough for a leisurely stroll across the bridge. We can thoroughly recommend Hotel Harbr and will stay there again at the next opportunity.

Stylish nautically themed rooms - lots of interesting eye candy in the lobby and other general areas, staff were multi lingual and very helpful. The hotel is positioned on the edge of a park that leads to a large river connecting two lakes - on a warm sunny evening full of locals enjoying the views and lovely ambiance. Good restaurants nearby if you want an alternative.

The possibility to rent an motor-ebike. The location is good. The temperature of the room was good. And when condition air used, no dust. The service had a nice details with my wife for her birthday.

Noisy, our room was next to a busy road. The ebike we rent had already a tlat tire and when exchange, no sorry. Our check in data paper was on the open public view with our data to be read. Next to a park with party's on weekends. No telephone on the room.

First of all, all staffs are very professional, kind and helpful. The hotel location was perfect. Close to the water, bridge, restaurant, supermarket and bus stop, train station. You can reach all by foot. Also, the room was really clean and comport. Breakfast had nice selections and fresh baked croissants were so tasty. Also, they have AC in the room!

Nothing but it would be nice to have a small fridge, a cattle and tea/coffee.

Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast with efficient Covid protocol. Rooms were sparkling clean and Covid rules were followed strictly. The location of the hotel is great for exploring the city without having the hassle of Konstanz city center traffic and parking problems.

Unfortunately, there was only one towel in our room, but the staff fixed it very quickly. Our room was right above the main entrance on the third floor and unfortunately all the smoke from smokers in front of that door came into our room. Maybe the smokers area can be moved where it’s not under room windows.
