Hotel Castle Garden

Fantastic and kind hotel staff. In addition, delicious coffee at the reception. Quiet neighborhood and close to the castle. I recommend!

From the moment I arrived, the property exceeded all expectations. Nestled in an idyllic location, it offered a perfect blend of comfort, style, and tranquility. The attention to detail in the design and décor of the property added a luxurious touch to the entire stay. What stood out most was the seamless integration of modern amenities with the natural surroundings, allowing for a peaceful retreat without sacrificing convenience. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Their recommendations for local dining and activities enhanced our visit significantly. The outdoor spaces, including gardens and a pool area, were beautifully maintained, providing a serene spot to relax and unwind. The commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience was evident in every aspect of our stay.

The hotel is wonderful. The location is close to everything, yet quiet enough. The room service was exellent, they cleaned every day, even if I didn't ask. The stuff is too very helfull and kind, and will help you with all questions

Almost all of my 6 nights except the last one was quiet and wanderfull, but in the last night a couple moved door next to me and were talking after 22:00. And I couldn't do much about it. Unfortenatly it was the same night I'm flyed so I slept maybe 2 hours becouse of them. The hotel stuff couldnot help me with this becouse this was not loud music or loud noise . The reason of this is that you and your neighbours, from both sides, sharing the same porche/terrace, and the separation from glass and air so if you stucked rith not thoughtfull neighbours, you screwed

Excellent location, 100 m away from Budai Varnegyed, one of Budapest's iconic castles. Mammut shopping center is walking distance of 10 minutes. Underground parking (very convenient during winter, your windshield does not freeze), opened also during the night. Very clean rooms, the ones on last floor have a small terrace, you can easily go out and smoke, without leaving the room. Small, but cozy restaurant, with good food and drinks. Nice people at reception, always helpful, Lili was smiling a lot ;)

Breakfast was ok, its variety could be extended, though.

This is my favorite hotel in Budapest. Modern architecture, but cozy and comfortable. I stayed there dozens of time, while travelling in business or pleasure. Location is perfect, also due to its proximity to tourist attractions of my interest. The place seems to have its own genius loci. Service is really good. Staff - always helpful and friendly. And the adjacent Riso Ristorante is a very good addition to the place.

The access to the (temporary) parking place in front of the entrance should be somewhat remodelled, if allowed by zoning regulations. Or a guarded (monitored) parking space should be arranged across the street (there is a paid public parking there).

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, from where you can easily reach anywhere in Budapest by metro or bus. Getting to the hotel was not entirely easy the first time (we drove through a barrier and cca five hundred meters further we immediately exited this zone again), but otherwise it is easy to get to the hotel by car. Parking is provided. The hotel itself is very nice. What we particularly liked was the staff - especially the receptionist was absolutely great (he always helped us, advised us and arranged everything). As for the breakfast - it was a classic buffet, the selection could have been richer, but otherwise everything was fresh and very good pastries. If possible, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The breakfast is fresh, tasty and very great sortiment. Carpark available, 24/7. We have been here 2nd times and we are coming back again on our next journey, 100%! The hotel is located just under the ancient walls of the castle. If you use the elevator, you are in the historical center in 2 minutes! However, another half of the attractions are in Pest on the other side of the Danube. Just use bus 16 or a nearby metro station to get there - very convenient. Breakfast didn't exceed expectations, it is normal. We had a nice receptionist - friendly and helpful Istvan, thank you for your help!

Room walls protected us from the noise of other rooms. But the entry door is too thin: when someone talks in the corridor it looks like she is in your room. Fortunately, not so frequent. The temperature in the room was set to 20 degrees (on paper); in reality, it was like 27. We kept windows open (in Feb) all the time, and this had another drawback: there is parking in 20 meters, and some tourists came (to the castle? hmm...) at 2:00 of the night shouting a lot.

The hotel is fine. A bit like a UK premier Inn but a nicer with slightly more character. Clean and functional - suitable if mainly for a base while visiting the city. The location is great, lovely and quiet but only 5-10 min walk from the centre. The restaurant attached to the hotel is GREAT and you get a discount if you tell them you are staying at the hotel. Varied menu, cocktails and wine along with friendly, accommodating staff. Hotel staff were also friendly and helpful eg when I forgot my charger they lent me a spare. The mini bar wasn't restocked that regularly/consistently and I did have to go round the bedroom turning stuff off and hanging socks over all the little LEDs that seem to be on everything these days, lighting up the room at night, but I like it pitch black to sleep so maybe I am just too sensitive. Overall we enjoyed it and I would stay again. Budapest is a FANTASTIC city and we would like to return. If we do we will probably stay here again if the price is right.

The pick up from the airport had not been arranged despite confirmation it would be. So we had to wait 30mins at the airport when it was already midnight. Of course the taxi blamed the hote and vice versa. the return journey was fine.
