Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Kences Palm Beach, Mamallapuram

The property was very good, liked the room and the little garden view seating was cozy, the beach side restaurant was pleasant. Overall our stay was fantastic. Absolutely wonderful place, great hospitality by Ananthu from the restaurant and the front desk was quick. Great experience. we will for sure visit again.

Except for the room service in the night. We ordered a chocolate brownie with ice cream and by the time it came to our room the brownie was hard as a rock and the ice cream melted and became watery. I had to call multiple times to remind them to bring it to our room. We had ordered and paid in the beach side restaurant to be delivered to our room. Except for this we had a good time.

Dint feel the hospitality from staffs which we usually get from every other 5 star property. We after travelling hours of road trip...we were shocked to see we werent served welcome drink which we needed the most then to relax..others who also checked in were nicely enjoying their welcome drink!! Strange!! Beach restaurant has most of the dishes out of stock. On asking about details of the dish..they are not clear at explaining..which actually confused us and we ended up buying wrong dishes...

This was our first time at welcomhotel and it was beyond amazing. The staff are so welcoming- Priya , Artira and Harish were helpful and kind at all times . Ms.Priya made sure we were comfortable at all times .The servers were also very polite and helpful even during the rain. The food was amazing . The ambience of every place was so aesthetic. The greenery stole our hearts as we are big fans of nature .

The spa should have more staffing because every time we visited there was only one lady and she was busy . So we could not enjoy that feature of our stay . Apart from that everything was top notch .

the breakfast was excellent and very elaborate. It was a feeling of luxury at a very reasonable price. The food at Namma shak was too good. The suggestions given by your team regarding selection of food was excellent. Your ground staff Ms.Jothi and front desk Ms. Roma priya were very knowledgeable and very friendly. The pool was good . The beach view was very nice . the buffet for lunch and dinner was also very elaborate with mouth watering dishes and deserts.

I strongly feel that people using the beach must avoid the pool because they carry a lot of mud in their costume and a single shower near the pool does not give away with the mud in their body. at the entrance of the pool one can feel the mud in the water. extra volunteers can solve the issue to a certain extent.

We booked 2 garden view rooms, rooms are decent with all amenities, and a good sized balcony. Pool was amazing, view from pool to beach was good. private beach access was good, they have a seating arrangement to watch sunrise, it was beautiful. They sent us buggy when we called to go to beach, however the walkways are very beautiful as well. We had dinner at restaurant. Both Breakfast and dinner buffet are decent, but not elaborate.

At break fast and dinner, vegetarian options, mainly vegan desserts are very few, which was disappointing. Indoor games are in the lobby, they just had few broken board games, could have been better. Most resorts in that area at this price offer complimentary hi-tea in the evenings with coffee/tea and snacks, which would be a nice gesture

The reception and customer care were outstanding. Room cleanliness and attention were remarkable.We really enjoyed the spread and quality as well as service very much. Overall delighted with the stay.

Buggy service for senior citizens could be better equipped. The access to the beach again for elders need attention.

Breakfast was Good. Pool and beach are well maintained.

The dinner bills are very expensive. i found most of the members stay in ITC are eat outside for Lunch and Dinner. Your team should retrospect as why! The value for money is missing for Food. An evening snack like Bajji which costs for 4 around Rs. 100 is costing 600 to 800 here. Why? So people come only for the ambience and food they go to near by affordable restaurants!

Nice beach resort! Its a very nice beach property in Mahabalipuram. Staff is very courteous. We can call the beach almost private beach and water is super clean. Except for one day where lot of fishermen came for fishing which I thought if possible should have been avoided. One can witness lovely sunsets as well as sunrise here. Nice pool as well which was operational too. Rooms are a bit smaller as compared to any other 5* property but it was okay. We had a garden cottage with good views of garden. They also have sea villas. Cafe riva had good breakfast buffet with decent spread. Taste wise too it was good. They have golf cart too in case required. Kids can enjoy play area too. Overall a good place and recommended.

All went well. Special thanks to Ms Priya, Ms Archana and the tall Mohammedan waiter in the restaurant, whose name unfortunately eludes me.

Just specify the taxes, for room service. Case in point: was told that a bucket of imported beer was 1999 but the bill with VAT was 4000 plus. Your staff were kind to take the beer back and cancel the bill though

The ambience was good. Privacy was available. The staff was courteous, especially the house-keeping personnel. The food was tasty and good. The property was kept clean. The Security staff was good in maintaining strict time to go to the Beach. The personnel were wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. This is very much appreciated.

The bed linen could have been cleaner. The Room Service must be improved. We did not get some items we ordered and the staff looked helpless. There was not much choice in ice-creams and desserts. FALOODA was not good.
