New Garden View Resort - CHSE Certified

Excellent location, close to beach and all kinds of shops atms etc. Extensive food menu with good spread in buffet breakfast. They also made us packed breakfast which was ready for us at the time of checkout. Staffs were very helpful and courteous. We booked a Superior Family room which was quite spacious. There was a nice big swimming pool which we did not try.

The room condition was not that good. Room had lot of damps in wall. The chair leather was torn and old. The WC had cracks. We just spent a night so did not make much fuss about it but I request Booking.com to not give these kinds of room options for guests.

Great location. Well priced for the area . Were not happy with the room , but moved with no trouble.

Very noisy, if you have front rooms. Music plays till 12pm. No towels by the pool . Never any staff by pool bar .

The hotel is an oasis right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. 3 blocks can take 20min to travel so being in the thick of town was great. Duck out for a shop then duck back to yr oasis . The ROOF TOP POOL is to die for. 🥰 Especially now the DECKING IS BEING RENOVATED. I'd go back just for the RTPool. 🌄🌄 The ground floor pool & kids pool were very cleverly placed next to one another so parents can be in one pool and the kids the other ,only feet away. + They all have swim up bars. The staff were so nice , they changed our bedding configuration for us and gave us a very very late check-out in one of our rooms. Of the 3 hotels we stayed in (Lombok, Nusa Lembongan & Legian) the New Gardens buffet breaky was by far the best.

My wife said the decor was a little dated but the colours of the sunsets from the roof ,more than made up for the colours of the walls.

Staff were super friendly. Rooftop pool and bar was great! Even though there were some Reno’s while we stayed there. Prime location! So much within walking distance and no trouble getting transport anywhere. Breakfast was delicious! We stayed in a little cottage and it was more than enough for us!

Our room originally had quite a few mosquitos in it and our bath had a part of it that looked melted covered with a plastic foot grip that was mouldy underneath and you could smell that. The shower was still fine and we didn’t complain :) Would stay here again still and recommend to friends.

central location and easy to walk around exploring legian and kuta. staff are very friendly and the accommodation is laid back and family friendly! breakfast was delicious! we chose to stay in deluxe bungalows over the newer rooms and were satisfied with everything the rooms provided! simple, basic and clean, with all that we needed for our stay. will definitely stay again on our next holiday visiting bali

the upstairs pool area was under construction, the pool was still accessible but the surrounding deck area was being maintained. didn’t really get to use it much this time as the kids weren’t allowed up to the adults only pool. yet no adults were really using it anyways , so kids could have had a swim without worrying anyone

The location was very good, very friendly staff, close to the popular Garlic lane, night clubs and beach all in walking distance

Had to change rooms as first room was right down the back next to the rubbish shed and fighting cats. The place needs upgrading. TV had poor reception and some channels were fuzzy. Linen wasn't cleaned properly, wasn't white but were yellowing. Furniture on balcony was worn and dirty and needed restaining. Toasters in breakfast area needed replacing. No hair dryer in room and it advertised there was one in every room

We arrived at 12 and were greeted by Made, who is just wonderful. He checked us in despite being 2 hrs early, upgraded our room, added breakfast for free, and gave us late check out. Made was so friendly and had a hilarious cheeky side to him. So staff were amazing, polite and helpful. The location is amazing. Central to legian and seconds from great restaurants, the beach and shopping. We used both the main pool and rooftop pool. With the rooftop being our favourite. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. We will be back

What a little gem I thought for the price we were going to stay somewhere a bit rough but no it was immaculate. We stayed there for 2 nights, my daughter , her three children and myself, we arrived late at night as our plane was delayed to the most accommodating staff, our room was upgraded which was very much appreciated, the rooms were very clean and the linen and towels all very clean, the pillows were amazing which was a big plus, we requested interconnected rooms which gave us more room for the children to move around, the rooms were big regardless, we also got the extra bed we asked for which was very comfortable more like a normal single bed. The two pools were great, one being very shallow which was great for the 4yo and the other had a swim up bar, there were plenty of pool toys that had been left from other guests for the kids to play with, the cocktails were amazing and had happy hour later in the day. The staff were all very friendly. The Hotel has its own money changer and the rate was as good as the rate on the street. We did not eat at the Hotel but it smelt good.

Only saying as a safety issue. We were on the 4th floor and the children went out onto the balcony, I went out after them and the 4yo went to stand on the cement planter which was against the balcony railing, which I think should be moved. We did not let them out there again. Some noise from the Y Bar so had me singing instead of trying to sleep, it did not seem to stop my other family members from sleeping though, it must close at 12.00 as that is when the music finished,

Great location, clean, very nice large room with a large bed. Bottled water was supplied for cleaning our teeth. Face washers given on request. Good customer service. Lovely roof top pool with cocktail bar. Also another pool on the ground floor.

The Y Club was next door and was very noisy. The terrace below our balcony room provided more noise with party goers being loud and keeping us awake until 3am. When we complained to reception they were moved on. I thought the staff would have moved them on before we complained as they were close to reception. The breakfast buffet was average and barely warm. If you wanted eggs there was only one person cooking which meant a long wait. I think this hotel is good for the young party goers. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday then I would not recommend this hotel.

Upon arriving at midnight, we checked in and i was shown my room - it was a pool view room with a big beautiful sliding door on the ground floor a matter of meters from the pool. Absolutely amazing for anyone else, but as i was travelling with a toddler, i knew this was going to cause for a very stressful and scary stay. I immediately spoke to reception who advised me to come back in the morning and speak with a manager. I spoke to the most helpful staff who checked in with the manager and gave me an upgraded room in the new wing free of charge. The staff were extremely helpful, always having a chat with us as we came and left, always saying hello to my toddler and just generally being professional yet friendly.

The only things i could comment on is the breakfast didnt seem to vary much from day to day however it is only $5 per person and does the job for days you dont feel like going out for breakfast... and the noise from Y bar can be quite loud some nights.. noise doesnt bother me too much but i know it does bother some people so if this is an issue for you, definitely book a room further to the back of the new building, pool view rooms or in the cottages down the back of the property
