The Lovina

This is my second staycation and I love it more and more, they upgraded our room for free and all the staffs were friendly and great even accompanied me and my son had tried canoeing and everything was lovely and wonderful stayed, Thankyou The Lovina for sure will come back soon 🤩✨😍

Facilities, staff and food were excellent. The TV was playing up initially but was immediately attended to. The plunge pool in our lovely little courtyard was very welcome and much used!

The only thing I didn’t like was the dolphin watching tour. Dozens of motorised “traditional boats” all chasing after the same pod of dolphins at the same time. I don’t know how that is affecting the dolphins long term. Not what I had imagined the tour to be.

The deluxe room (E06) was nice. Its the exact same room as the studio, except, instead of being one large open space, it has a wall and sliding door, separating the bedroom/bathroom from the kitchen/living room (which also has a large trundle daybed). Great when you and your companion are on different sleep/wake schedules. Excellent water pressure. LG TV's in both living room and bedroom. Strong Air-con worked perfectly. - The mattress was very comfortably on the firm side. The staff, was great and always smiling, polite and attentive. Lina, in particular is incredibly capable, professional, sharp and personable. She has excellent communication skills and just great at her job. She is someone I would hire in a heartbeat. Breakfast was great- I mainly had fresh juice and yoghurt but they had absolutely everything, including an omelet bar. They have a free shuttle which is fantastic to get to Pepito's (excellent international supermarket) to stock up. The ladies in the Spa were terrific and did a phenomenal french gel mani pedi. If you want to ACTUALLY swim with ( not just look at) Dolphins, you must contact Erik Lovina Dolphin- you will thank me. I definitely would stay again and recommend this hotel

-The food, didn't care for anything other than breakfast, but I'm quite particular. -The gym smells like rubber.quite unpleasant. -I found the taxi rates were ridiculously overpriced. download GojeK app- (Grab is pricey in rural areas) -The cabinets under the sink which has the pots and induction hob, smells a bit mildewy. Need to use bleach or white vinegar when cleaning. Kitchen could use a frying pan, scissors and dishtowel and scouring pad. **Please, if you have children and are staying on the top floor, be considerate of the people downstairs, who are also on vacation.

Staying at the Lovina Hotel was just wonderful. I honestly could not have asked for anything more. The staff were exceptional, everywhere I went in the hotel there was a smile and a happy greeting. They even knew my name and how I liked my watermelon juice! Value for money was amazing and the staff were so accommodating. I had the villa with the pool, although it rained most days the one day I was there all day the pool was invaluable so dip into! The locals are very friendly and often chat with you if you wish, but if you want to be left alone they respect that. It is fascinating to sit and watch the fishmen in the sea and the sunsets are beautiful. Room service is impeccable...some of the top hotels I've stayed in have not done the rooms ro this standard. Beyond clean and tidy and the fresh daily flower are a lovely touch. All in all I have stayed at other hotels in Bali before I decided to try the North. I really cannot wait to go back to the Lovina. It feels like I have left family behind...you will not be disappointed. OK, there is no nesspreso coffee machine! But keeping in mind Bali is trying to be a green country and not encourage use of plastics then that's understandable!

Honestly, there was nothing. Maybe that it came to an end too quickly!!

Next to the beach, beautiful and quite resort. Staff was exceptional. One of the best experiences I had in Bali.

I was really happy there was a gym but it’s needs some maintenance. What for me was annoying was there where a lot of local sales people selling useless souvenirs on the beach in front of the hotel/restaurant area and they keep asking every hour to buy from them - over and over again. I respect them and that they work and try to earn some money but it’s annoying. Tip for management: give them a job or simple contract to sell useful things on the beach, like sunscreen, hair extensions for children or ice cream to make the experience even better at daytime.

Huge, beautifully maintained property with lush tropical gardens throughout the resort. We stayed in a beach view suite poolside (with an awesome large pool) overlooking the ocean, which was 30m away. It was a fully contained apartment, very comfortable and spacious, great amenities including dual AC and several fans, super comfy king sized bed, cable flat screens in both bedroom and living room, completely soundproofed. Very safe and relaxing resort. The staff were amazingly friendly, helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend to anyone

The buffet breakfast wasn’t very vegan friendly, however the staff were super accommodating in going out of their way to acquire and prepare us food, which we were very appreciative of and touched by, always being diligent of our requirements. Very impressive

The staff were all amazing and the service was excellent! The room was very large and comfortable. The decoration was less typical of Bali then the other hotels I stayed in with no real charm, but it was very functional. The breakfast was varied and very good, the restauant on the beach was also very good. They offer yoga classes and have a compact gym. The facilities are excellent and the grounds lovely. The hotel is made up of a large amount of villas. There is a shuttle service was very practical. A hotel I highly recommend.

The resort is just spectacular. Beautiful well maintained gardens, with meandering pathways between the well designed apartment blocks and villas. Right on the beach with a lovely restaurant offering gorgeous sunsets. All staff are so polite and helpful. Breakfast offered a big variety of options. Our accommodation was the nicest place we have stayed in many years. Spotlessly clean, with every facility you would ever need, absolutely top quality. We would not hesitate on coming back to Tjhe Lovina in the future.

Absolutely nothing, it was fabulous.

Location Location Location 😊 by the beach with a good distance from the main road, hence it can be quiet from the crowd. Love the 2BR room that we stayed, which was more than sufficient to accommodate 4pax need for space and privacy. Love the beach and it’s free facilities. We stroll the calm waves with free canoe while waiting for sunset.

Ala carte Breakfast; While the food tasted fine and came in good portion, but I thought that serving the in buffet maybe better in term of guest experience. And please consider moving them to the by the beach restaurant area, to really maximize the vista that they have

The staff, they are all very helpful, kind and friendly. Especially Pak Gede at the restaurant who looked after us at breakfast and at lunch time too, Lina at the front office, the 2 bapak at the water activities, the bapak at the towel station, the porters, the shuttle drivers, basically every staff 😁 The room is spacious, we have the one facing the mountain and rice fields. We like it, at night time all the lights are on and they look pretty. Breakfast on the 1st morning was a la carte and on the 2nd was buffet. We prefer the a la carte. I require gluten free meals and they had gluten free bread for me and they can even do nasi goreng for me. It's yummy. The same for lunch, they can change an item on menu to gluten free. The shuttle is very convenient. They dropped us off at wherever we want to go within the boundary and picked us up when we called or asked to be picked up at certain time. The driver even waited for us when we just needed to get bread at Buda Bakery (5 minutes in and out). The pool is a good size, the kayaking was fun and it's pretty good walk from Pepito supermarket back to the hotel. It was pretty quiet during our stay.

It's pretty long walk to main street, so need to use the shuttle. We had difficulty turning off the fan, turn out the switch on the wall near the bed that we thought for not working light somewhere is the switch for it. Need a weitten instruction. The shower and tap - no cold water. The choices are either warm or hot. The bed and the pillows are not the most comfortable but they are ok and they are 2 pillows.
