Tamukami Hotel

Excellent staff and service, fantastic place to stay. We arrived hot and sweaty and they bought us a chilled mango orange drink straight away. Best thing ever. We were upgraded to a lovely big room with the biggest bed I have ever seen. Very comfortable and immaculately clean. View out onto beautiful grounds around a fabulous pool we swam in as much as possible. The restaurant is excellent and they do a great Nasi Gorang breakfast which we loved. All round very comfortable, relaxed stay. Good location to beach and shops and restaurants.

It was much more than I expected. Really big room and the location is centrally based, 10 min walk from the beach but in a very calm area. The hotel is small and it gives you a very relaxed and nice feeling like almost being home.

Wifi can be better. Be aware that if you pay with a credit card at the location, there is an extra 3% charge. It would be good to mention it.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved our corner room by the pool. Big room. Huge, firm bed. Everything was clean. The pool area was an oasis - great place to relax. Set back from the main road. Close to food, massage and shopping. 10minutes walk in either direction from the beach- you can’t walk directly there due to land owned by big hotels. We hired bicycles and Suzanne took us on a morning ride/ tour of the area - thoroughly enjoyed. We hope to be back

As with other reviews- bathrooms are somewhat outdated, but this wasn’t really a problem. It’s not a 5star hotel so we didn’t expect modern. They were clean.

We stayed here for 5 nights and were sad to leave. The property's beautiful, has a wonderful pool, with enough chairs and shade to relax. Large rooms, comfy bed, very clean, and a great breakfast (choice between American and Indonesian). Staff was very kind. The restaurant on site is opened for lunch and dinner as well, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel also rents out good bicycles if you want to explore further. We will definitely come back if we come back to Bali and recommend it to everyone.

Our first room had an odd smell, but after we asked the staff about it, they switched us to a different room, which was perfect!

Tamukami was a great traditional old style hotel with comfortable beds and a spacious room every thing you need to have a relaxing holiday and a great outlook to the pool.

The massage room is in urgent need of renovation it adjoins somebodies room and their shower which was open at the top, we could hear their entire conversation, they don't have a massuer on site, have to be called in but there are plenty of lovely places close by and could be the reason for this. A true Bali experience.

Tamukami is an absolute gem in Sanur. I stayed in a bungalow suite. It was massive and well appointed. I loved the location of my room at the back of the hotel as I wasn't looking directly out into the pool. The area around the pool was lovely and green. You know you're at a good hotel when when you meet many "regulars" during your stay - this is what happened at Tamukami. I liked that it was close to 2 of my favourite warungs and within easy walking distance of the night market. I loved it and will be back.

The wifi around the pool wasn't great but honestly, it wouldn't have been the worst thing ever if I had simply enjoyed my time around the pool with a book. :)

Location in Sanur was great. One street back from the beach and very quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. Our room was extremely large with a sitting area and an extra large comfy bed. The shower and bath area is also very large. The owner lives on site and you can see she genuinely loves her staff as family. Pool lovely and relaxing no noisy children at the time of our stay.

The bar could do with some additional options of cocktails, or for example, bourbon but no other issues.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained accommodation. The pool was sparklingly clean and the right temperature . Lovely staff and very helpful 😀 Daily roomservice. Easy excess to shops and restaurants, although we only eat at Tamukami . We will definitely come back again.

Bad was a bit hard for me, but my husband liked it. No beach excess other than walking down on the main street till the next street, which takes you down to the beach. Plenty taxis around, but the trip is too short for them.

A good mid priced choice. The garden and pool area is lovely. All of our rooms were huge, as were the bathrooms. Sanur is such a nice area of Bali. Much more relaxed and low key, and prettier compared to Kuta, Legian and Seminyak. The beach is gorgeous, with plenty of trees.

My room unfortunately had a foul smell in the bathroom. I think the plumbing needed to be cleaned out. the rooms of my family were fine and did not have this stench. The breakfast options was very limited, and not especially generous or tasty compared to other hotels in Bali.

The Tamukami Hotel is a nice little hotel with all rooms around the pool. Breakfast was ok. The owner and staff were friendly and nothing to much trouble. Will stay there again next time.

Im a bit of a fuss eater so breakfast for me could have been better, There was 2 choices American or Indonesia. But I never went hungry.
