Aveta Hotel Malioboro - CHSE Certified

Rooms are spacious, clean and very modern with comfortable beds and well designed ensuite bathrooms. The balconies are nice, especially at the higher floor, providing good views of the area and a good breezy area for relaxation. Staff were friendly and helpful and we really appreciate the efforts made by the hotel in accommodating us in connecting rooms as requested. The breakfast at the restaurant was great, with a great range of western and asian cuisine. And if you have a seat at the big windows, you will get a nice view of the Malioboro street below. Loaction is also a big positive, being on Malioboro street itself and right next to the Malioboro Mall.

Checking in at the 8th floor was rather cumbersome. Would help having a checking counter on the ground floor. We had to look for help for our baggage and access to the hotel as the Malioboro street was closed off during our check in time.

Family suite was a good size for 2 adults and 2 children. Very modern design. 2 comfortable king size beds, tv (30 chanels, many in English), nice powerful water pressure for lovely hot showers, good lighting over bathroom sink for shaving or make up, mini bar fridge with complimentary orange juices etc. Nice food at the buffet. A small swimming pool to cool off. Overall we had a great stay and would definately stay here again when in Yogyakarta.

On the first night at around 10:30pm there was loud children directly upstairs. They were screaming and thumping. After 3 calls to reception to complain they finally stopped around 12:30pm. It is because of the noisy childrens parents lack of control and concideration that I gave a rateing of 9 star rating.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were all very friendly, check in and out was fast. Lobby had a good fragrance. Size of room was perfect. Housekeeping was very responsive and prompt in arranging what we needed. The head of housekeeping also visited the next day to ensure we were comfortable and that everything was fine since we were staying for a few days. Location was in Malioboro so its very convenient for shoppers. Do note that from about 6pm to 9pm, the road at Malioboro will be closed for those who take cars. The hotel staff will provide the location for the car to drop you off and send staff to help w the luggages. We enjoyed the food during our stay. Keep up the good work!

Location: Excellent location. It's near to all food outlet. Also next to a Mall. At the tourist attraction spot. Room: Very spacious. Clean. Free bottled mineral water daily. Bathroom: Good design. There is door for the toilet. Good amenities. Hair dryer available. Breakfast: Take away early breakfast was good.

Breakfast: At the hotel restaurant , breakfast was mostly local food, not much variety, even the Western section was limited choice. There was no butter but margarine instead.

Kid's breakfast station had waffles, pop corn which was great. Hotel gave us quiet rooms away from the main road thus we had peaceful sleep; 2 choices of bed pillows - firm or soft given for each guest on the beds & complimentary biscuits, and orange drinks were a bonus. We especially enjoyed the ground floor Kala Jumpa Cafe which served the best food around.Checking in was easy at 8th floor and to access your floor, tap on the panel inside the lift and tapping the button of your floor level. Leave your luggage at the ground floor with the bellman before checking in and after checking in, bellman will bring it directly to your assigned room. Hotel provided sandwich breakfast boxes for early trips (to give advance notice the day before).

Staff was really friendly and accomodating. We wanted to get back to hotel by 8pm, which time the road access to hotel was blocked so the hotel staff picked us up and helped us to bring back our car to the hotel by 9pm. So thankful for their great service. And the bed was very big and comfortable. The hotel is at prime location, to the left there is indomaret, to the right there is a shopping mall. So it was a truly pleasant stay

-room floor tends to get dusty at times -we requested breakfast to go because we had to leave by 4am but the sandwich provided were hard and some were moldy. Maybe because they did it the night before

I was travelling for work with my diversely abled dancers after their performance at the SIPA festival in Solo City and then for a 2 days trip to Jogja for a dance exchange programme. The hotel staff were very considerate and kind towards the team which was important for my team who were travelling the first time to Yogjakarta, Indonesia. The hotel was located very close to eateries and the mall so it was easier for us to walk around. The food spread for break fast was also good and the bed was very comfortable and so it gave us good rest too. I would recommend this hotel for families and for even a work trip.

Varied Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet at the hotel provided a wide range of options, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste.

Thin Walls: One issue I encountered was the thin walls in the hotel. I could hear children from the adjacent room playing and screaming, which was disruptive at times. Language Barrier: The staff's limited English proficiency made communication challenging. However, despite this obstacle, they were always kind, patient, and understanding. Nighttime Road Closures: It's worth noting that the hotel's location can be a bit of a hassle at night due to road closures. This may cause some inconvenience when planning activities or returning to the hotel during those hours.

In middle of Malioboro Street - fantastic location - exceptionally good hotel with all details handled very well. From Reception to Room - bright modern and super bathroom. Only comment not enough cupboards or shelves in bedroom for our 5 night stay - ideal for overnight though. Could manage though as room was big. Quiet. Breakfast full choice of local through the regular international items - all provided for. High recomendation from well travelled visitors.

great location, just a 15 mins walk to the train station and in the heart of all the shopping and restaurants and convenience store is just downstairs. reception service was attentive and great, helped us in directions, morning call, even helped us in the booking of train tickets. wifi is good in all areas. The restaurant is one of the best on this street. nice and cozy with good menu. also have love music playing on one night.

the sound insulation could be better, as in the room we could hear the neighbors talking at the corridor.
